Summary

The worldwide famous compay Cadburys have employed me to

design and create an Advertisement for their popular chocolate bar
Boost. I will need to research the company and find out information on
the chocolate bar.
I need to explore different ways to advertise and al so the target
audience. I found out the boost bar has been out since. 1985 and is sold
in the UK, South africa, Australia and New Zealand. I was thinking with
the bar being called Boost, I could base my advert aroudn sport to give
athletes a boost.

Advert

I neeed to explore the audience I will be directing this chocolate bar on

and that will be maily sporty people and athletes! I was thinking I could
have mi advert set on a race track with runers so that when they run out
of energy this bar will give them the boost that they need. When I have
viewed prevous adverts for Boost I noticed some of them were quiet
immature and could only realy be understood by adult humor.
Here I have included screenshots of some previous ads I hove found on
YouTube and what happens in them. I ws planning on placin the Boost
bar on the trak so that athletes run by it with the Camera focused on the
chocolate! I am then tinking one of the runners runs out of breath and
feels he cannot go on. He then seees the chocolate bar on the floor,
and picks it up. He looks at it for a while and then takes a bite ot of it.
After a few seconds he feels re-energized and racess past everyone and
wins the race.It will attract sporty people because this advert will giv
them the impression it is a good way to get energy and give You the
boost you need. It also works well with the name of the chocolate.

Timeline for the Advert

2.0-5.0 seconds where the advert is beginning.

5.0-10.0 seconds where the advert is in the setting.

10.0-20.0 seconds of the runners racing by behind the boost bar.

20.0-30.0 seconds where the athlete stops and picks up the bar.

30.0-35.0 seconds when the athlete takes a bite and feels great.

35.0-40.0 seconds when the runner races by everyone.

40.0-50.0 when the runner wins and the strapline comes on.

This isnt exactly how my advert may turn out but it is a brief idea and
plan I can follow for guidance.

Scenario and Theme

The
scenario and themes I have been thinking of ar in a sports based
enviroment. The reason for this is that it matches the name and would
look good with the advert, I have thought about a colour scheme and i
was thinking somethin quite plain, maybe have the race tracks te same
colour as the bar so that it matchs. I would like the advirt to be set outside
with nice weather bit that depends on how the weather is on that day.

Justification

I planned to have the advert like tat as I feel it suits the idea f the Boost
Bar. The product is alredy a well-known chocolate bar and is distributed
by a best seller of chocolate; Cadburys. My target audience is aimed
at. sports people which I think is the correct catagory as it will give them
energy and willl attract that category of people, There isnt a specific
age rang I am basing th advert around but it will feature a range of Men
and women with ages arond 20-45 years old running.

Conclusion

In conclusion I tink that my idea is suitable for the advertisement Of the

product. The reason I think this is Because there are many adverts out for
Boost already that focus on the younger targat audience and not many
on the older ones. Not only is it an ideel theme due to the fact it is
called a boost and is aimed at giving athletes a boost of energy but,
also because it is aimed at sporty kind of people and willl attract more
customers of that audienc.
