UNIT-1 MINI OVER

HAULING
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT
Generator Transformer-1:

Preventive maintenance was completed.


All cooling fans PM Job was done and trial run was taken.
OLTC control panel tightness was checked.
Transformer HT and LT Side Flexible Joint Connection condition and Terminal

connection checked and tightness was done.


Protection Testing of Transformer Bucholz relay, PRV & OLTC Tested and tripping
of relay was confirmed.
Earthing Connection /NGRT connection was checked and tightness was done.

Unit Auxiliary Transformer

UAT transformer preventive maintenance was completed.


IR value was checked and found above 20Gohm.
Transformer external cleaning was done.
Transformer HT Side Flexible Joint Connection /Bus duct side bus condition and

Terminal connection checked and found Normal.


LT Side Power cable connection tightness checked, & cable healthiness checked
found Normal.
Protection Testing of Transformer Bucholz relay & PRV Tested and tripping of
relay was confirmed.
UAT Transformer -Cooling Fan Motors PM Job Taken -trail run taken for all the
motors working Normal.

ELECTRICAL PREVENTIVE MAINTAINANCE OF LUBE OIL MOTORS:


AOP:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Winding resistance value was checked and found normal.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 300Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Control testing was normal.
De-greasing was done at both DE and NDE side of the motor.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

MOP:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was
checked.
Winding resistance value was checked and found normal.

Megger value was with respect to earth was above 200Mohm


LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Control testing was normal.
De-greasing was done at both DE and NDE side of the motor.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

JOP:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Winding resistance value was checked and found normal.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 100Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Control testing was normal.
De-greasing was done at both DE and NDE side of the motor.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

Barring Gear Motor :

Winding resistance value was checked and found normal.


Megger value was with respect to earth was above 500Mohm
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.
Control trial was taken and functioning of the contactors were checked and
found ok

ID 1A:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 500Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.

Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.

Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 500Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

PA 1B:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Driven end cover was removed and Bearings was replaced with new bearings.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 500Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

SA 1A:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 300Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Control testing was normal.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

SA 1B:
Cooling fan Cover was removed and cleaning was done and tightness was

checked.
Megger value was with respect to earth was above 300Mohm
LPB and JB side tightness was checked and found normal.
Feeder side contactor was cleaned and tightness was also checked.
Control testing was normal.
Power Terminal tightness was checked at both motor and panel end.
Contactor tips were cleaned at panel end.
Control terminal tightness was checked at panel end.

Switchyard Maintenance jobs:


230KV Breaker Junction box was cleaned and BMK was cleaned and all the
control cables of the breaker tightness were checked.

230KV CVT- Junction box was cleaned and all the control cables of the CVT
tightness were checked.
230KV CT Junction box was cleaned and all the control cables of the CT
tightness were checked.
230KV Isolator Junction box was cleaned and all the control cables of the
Isolator tightness were checked.

ELECTRO STATIC PRICIPITATOR OVER HAULING:


Four numbers of supporting insulators cleaned and condition checked found
healthy.
Rapping system for both emitting and collecting Motor Checked & trail run taken
working normal Sequence operation for Emitting & Collecting rapping Checked
found normal.
Transformers both Primary & Secondary terminal Connection tightness checked
& IR Value checked found Normal.ESP Field Megger Value checked above 100 M
ohm.

VFD Drive Maintenance Jobs.

VFD Both Master and slave drive cover opened Cleaned and terminal
tightness & Electronics cards cleaning and healthiness of IGBT Condition
checked .found Normal.
Panel Earthing Connection / Input and output Chock condition checked OK.
Drive Panel back side Bus bar Connection tightness / Cleaning work
Completed.
VFD Drive Parameter settings checked & Drive Local /Remote Operation
checked both side drive working condition checked running Normal.

Battery bank PM Job.


Battery bank Pm job was taken and all the battery terminals were cleaned by
using air blower and petroleum jelly was applied in all the terminals.
Battery voltage checked in all the individual cells and values were entered in
battery log note.
Four nos of battery voltage were checked and found low so batteries were
replaced.
