PIPE & BEND CONFIGURATION
Built to all quality systems, except API-661
Low initial cost
Lightweight
Flexible connection locations
Typically constructed in a thermal counter
flow configuration, regardless of connection
location requirements
Pressures up to 5150 PSIG
Unit Configurations
FORCED DRAFT
The most common style. Allows for easy access to
all of the mechanical components and for simplified
future plant expansions with direct access to the
bundle.
INDUCED DRAFT
This configuration is used to minimize the effects of
the environment and helps minimize the chances of
hot air recirculation.
J-UNITS
Common in the compression industry to mount up
against compressor houses. The bundles are vertical
and the air is drawn across the bundles and turns 90
degrees and discharges upwards.
V-CORE
Allows the unit to have more primary surface area in
a small space. This design works well for commercial
units that are Water/Glycol/Fluid Coolers or Refrigerant Condensers although it is not limited to these
products.
VERTICAL CORE
Vertical core coolers are very compact and a cost
effective solution to meet your cooling needs. This
configuration has great flexibility to meet space
constraints such fitting in the end or side of a containerized skid while allowing the process piping to run
directly back to the equipment needing cooling.

to Control the Process Temperatures
Glycol water cooler located in Alberta, Canada. This cooler minimizes the consumption of water
from the cooling tower during lower ambient days.
GAS COMPRESSION
MATERIALS
HEADERS
UNIT CONFIGURATIONS
Forced Draft
Compressed natural gas (CNG) cooler used to remove the heat of compression at a natural gas filling station. This four stage
cooler has either carbon steel or stainless steel tubes with either flat or corrugated plate fins. All four stages utilize a pipe
header construction that is ASME Section VIII Div. 1 certified with an upper level pressure rating of 5150 PSIG.
LANDFILL GAS
MATERIALS

Plug Box
UNIT CONFIGURATIONS
Forced Draft
Methane gas cooler used to cool high volume, low pressure gas, from a landfill blower located in Wisconsin.
The plug box headers are constructed of stainless steel with stainless steel plugs. The plugs allow for
easy tube cleaning due to some of the fouling products that can be delivered from the landfill.

Certifications
API 661 / API 614
API STANDARD 661
ASME U AND UM STAMP
Coils constructed in accordance with the requirements of the
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for the Unfired Pressure
Vessels under Section VIII Division 1 of the code.
CRN
CANADIAN REGISTRATION NUMBER
Super Radiator Coils can provide coils that are certified in accordance with the Canadian Boiler, Pressure Vessel and
Pressure Piping Code (B51-97)
NDE
NON-DESTRUCTIVE EXAMINATION
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
- Effective at checking for flaws located at or near
the surface.
- Uses a metallic power or liquid along with strong
magnetic field probes to locate flaws.
Liquid(Dye) Penetrant Inspection (PT)
- Uses colored or fluorescent dye to check for
surface flaws.
- Will not show sub-surface flaws.
