platedmetal.Bestknownchemicalforreverseelectroplatingisamixtureofthreedifferentacidswithratios70-15-15
percentofeach.
Takethisratiointhisordertogetherwithacidssodiumcyanide(NaCN),sodiumhydroxide(NaOH)andsodiummeta
nitrobenzenesulphonate(C6H4NO5SNa).Addthesechemicalsintotherecoverycellandagitate.
Thismethodofdissolvingmetalsrequiresaseparate6-12VoltDCpowersourcetoprovidetheanodiccathodic
connectionswithinthebath.
Connectthenegativewiretoastainlesssteelcathode.Positivewirerepresentsanodeanditmustbeconnectedto
theplateditemsheldwithininasuitablecontainerensuringagoodconnectionfortheelectriccurrentflow.
