Regulation on data provisioning

Kaspersky Lab ZAO is rightholder of the software to which current Regulation app
lies.
The regulation defines the procedure for obtaining and using information
1. Definitions
1.1 The Software means software including any Updates and related materials
1.2 Computer(s) means combination of hardware(s), including personal computers,
laptops, workstations, personal digital assistants, smart phones , hand-held devices,
or other electronic devices, and operating system(s) (including system virtual m
achines) for which the Software was designed where the Software will be installe
d and/or used.
1.3 Trace files mean data containing information on work of the Software or its
components.
1.4 Memory dump files mean the contents of system memory of the Software process
es at the time of generation.
1.5 System information files mean data containing information about Computer.
1.6 Rightholder (owner of all rights, whether exclusive or otherwise to the Soft
ware) means Kaspersky Lab ZAO, a company incorporated according to the laws of t
he Russian Federation.
1.7 End User (You/Your) means individual(s) who are legally using a copy of the
Software.
2. Information provided
In order to eliminate conflicts of the Software with the software and/or drivers
installed on your Computer, eliminate errors of the Software, You agree to coll
ect and provide to the Technical Support the following data which may contain co
nfidential information.
2.1. System information files:
Information about your computer hardware and software, including operating syste
m and service packs installed, kernel objects, drivers, services, Internet Explo
rer extensions, printing extensions, Windows Explorer extensions, downloaded pro
gram files, active setup elements, control panel applets, hosts file and registr
y records, browser and e-mail clients versions, information about ports opened a
nd connections established at the moment of data collecting.
2.2. Trace files
- Information about the status of your computer's antivirus protection and data
on any objects or activities suspected of being malware (e.g., detected object n
ame, date/time of detection, names/paths and size of infected files, part or has
h of IP and port of network attack, list of malware actions and potentially mali
cious URLs) and product and user decisions about them.
- Information about applications downloaded by the user (URL, attributes, file s
ize, information about process that initiated download).
- Information about applications and their modules run by the user (size, attrib
utes, date created, information about PE headers, region, name, location, and co
mpression utilities used).
- Information about errors and usage of the user interface of the Kaspersky Lab
product installed on your computer.
- Information about network connections, including IP address of remote computer
and user s computer, connection port numbers, network protocol type.
- Information about sent and received email messages including date and time of
message, sender and recipient address, message subject.
- Information about URLs visited, including data about login and password in cas
e of open connection.
2.3 Memory dump files

Data included in memory dump files contain information about system memory of th
e Software processes at the time of generation.
3. Information storage and transfer
3.1. Information storage is encrypted.
3.2. Information transfer is performed using SSL and with explicit consent of th
e User.
3.3 The User is responsible for monitoring and limiting access to the collect in
formation stored on the Computer before transfer to the Rightholder.
4. Information protection
4.1. Information provided is protected by Kaspersky Lab in accordance with statu
tory requirements.
4.2. Information provided will be used by the Technical Support only to solve th
e technical problem. Processing and storage of confidential data that may be pre
sent in the information provided, is not carried out. Information provided is no
t personalized.
4.3. All actions of information provisioning shall be supervised by Technical Su
pport specialist.
Provisioning of the above information is optional. The Software is supplied to t
he user with default settings where trace function is disabled and can be enable
d by the user. Enabling trace function means user agreement with the terms of th
e regulation.
