The topic of this meeting will be Transportation Data Models and we are fortunate to have Adrien Litton,
from ESRI, coming in from Redlands. Mr. Litton has been with ESRI Professional Services for 18 years.
He currently works as a senior technical consultant in the Database Services Local Government and
Transportation Team where he focuses on enterprise-level database design and implementation for
transportation, land records, and cadastral databases. He is considered a subject matter expert in the
areas of street centerline, addressing and linear referencing. He provided technical review and
implementation testing for the ESRI Press book, Designing Geodatabases for Transportation by J. Allison
Butler. He was also a contributor to the transportation, parcel and address components of ESRI’s GIS for
the Nation, has designed and implemented enterprise-level geodatabase models for several large cities,
and designed transportation network data models for major shipping companies and local governments.

“Designing Geodatabases for Transportation” is the first book published on transportation spatial database
design and you can buy the book or download and read the first two chapters here.
