have not been received by the School.

A minimum non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is 50% of TOTAL FEES (course fees). No course confirmations will
be sent until the deposit(s) has/have been received. Deposits are for the sole purpose of reserving a place on a course and are non-
refundable, save as provided otherwise herein.

(7) days of the initial application (the cooling off period). Where the student chooses to exercise this right to cancel, the School must be
notified in writing. Cancellations made by phone will not be accepted. We strongly advise students to preserve evidence of having

one year of the cancellation date. Any cancellations after this period will incur cancellation charges of, three weeks’ tuition fees and any
administration charges.
Where a student’s Visa application has been refused, an application for a refund must be made two weeks before the start date of the
course. It is the student’s responsibility to satisfy themselves that they can comply with the notification guidelines prior to making the
application. In circumstances where notification under this clause would be impossible, an application by the student forms a waiver of
rights under this clause.

Where the student has correctly notified the School, the full fees will be refunded less an administrative charge of £150, (subject to
these Terms and Conditions) on production of the following documents: (1) Copy of the VISA refusal letter (APP200) (2) Copy of the
student’s passport showing both a photograph and signature; and (3) where the payee was not the student, an original authority letter
from the student authorising the repayment to the payee. If a student’s Visa application is refused on the grounds that the student failed
to provide necessary documents, demonstrate adequate financial support, or for other reasons which the student is accountable, the
School accepts no responsibility to refund. The student is held responsible if the Visa application was made late and their LSBF

and that the accommodation meets British Council and ARELS recommended standards.
1.5 Hosts International Ltd will offer a student accommodation on a Booking Confirmation Form and an invoice will be presented. This

1.6 Hosts International Ltd will accept bookings within 48 hours of the intended arrival date but must have payment on a credit card
beforehand of a minimum of one week's accommodation fees. In such cases, Hosts International will suggest accommodation that is
available, not necessarily exactly what the client specifies due to short notice in booking.

2. MOVEMENT OF STUDENTS
2.1 Hosts International Ltd reserves the right to move a student from his/her accommodation or refuse to accommodate any student
should we find his/her behaviour unacceptable. Students will be notified of this when and where appropriate.
2.2 Should any student not be satisfied with his/her accommodation, Hosts International Ltd will relocate the student to a similar
standard accommodation. In this case, normally a one-week notice period should be given to the family. This will only be waived in
emergencies.
2.3 If a student decides to move out of a family into his/her own accommodation, the student must give two weeks notice of departure.
In the event of no notice being given, the student will be charged for two weeks of accommodation in lieu of notice.

vary in an emergency.

another suitable home, if the student does not wish to take up the alternative offer off his/her own will, the usual cancellation notice
terms apply.

where incorrect information has been provided. Hosts International Ltd will seek to recover all costs arising where incorrect information
has been provided.

collection of the student.
3.3 Hosts International Ltd undertakes that all its drivers will be familiar with its guidelines on meeting and collecting students at airports.
3.4 Hosts International Ltd depends on accurate flight details being supplied. Although Hosts International Ltd checks all flight arrival
times, if we are unable to collect the student due to an incorrect flight number then we will invoice the transfer at the full rate.
3.5 Generally airport transfer bookings must be made at time of accommodation booking so that the services can be invoiced.
3.6 Where an airport transfer has been booked, a Hosts International driver will meet the student and hold a board with the students
name at the arrival hall of the designated airport. If the driver cannot be located, the student is advised to make his/her way to the
information desk and call our emergency line on 07799693566. Drivers usually arrive between 45-60 minutes after the flight lands,
allowing the student with adequate time to get through immigration formalities and baggage. Students are strongly advised not to accept
transfer from any unauthorised taxi drivers that operate at the airports as all Hosts International drivers will carry the students address
and a board in the student’s name. Hosts Intentional will not accept liability in this case.

4. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

for the full invoice value in advance to secure the reservation. The payment is due before obtaining the confirmed address of
accommodation.
4.3 In the event of a student leaving his/her accommodation early, Hosts International Ltd will issue a credit note to cover any "unused"
accommodation (after taking into account any notice of cancellation where applicable). Notice period is a minimum one week.
4.4 If a student accepts and pays for an accommodation and then fails to arrive at the accommodation, the student will be liable for one
week of accommodation in lieu of notice.

12

the families. In case this happens, Hosts International reserves the right to de-list the family from our books if they agree to
accommodate the student directly without Hosts International’s involvement. Hosts International may refuse to re accommodate the
student and will not allow the family to enter into any direct agreement with the student, if the student approaches the family for a direct
agreement.
