LANGUAGE SKILLS

English: advanced level general and medical English. In addition, I have regular
contact with foreign medical students in my apprentice work at Tropical disease
hospital & Cho Ray hospital, which requires frequent use of spoken English.

Chinese: pre-intermediate level in general Chinese. It's just enough to talk to my

friends in China town.

French: I had a 2-year-period learning French in university which focused on medical

terminology.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

Sept 2009 – Jan 2010: Hung Vuong obstetrics and gynecology hospital, HCMC (part-
time)
I worked as an assistant of my professor, Dr. Xuan Trang, in obstetrics emergency
department, where I learned the management of breech presentation, pre-eclampsia,
placenta paraevia and ectopic pregnancy.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• As my friends told, it seems that I do not have a base personality of a regular doctor,
conservative. I usually eager for learning new knowledge and technology. However, I
am a perfectionist.
• I intend to return to university for postgraduate studies in neurosurgery, but I would
like to gain some practical experience of health care work first.
