Dear Mr. Orlikow,

As concerned citizens of the River Heights ward, YOU HAVE FAILED US!

You have abdicated your responsibilities to the community you represent.

As taxpayers and voters, we deserve to know why we were never consulted about
the recent drastic changes to the streets in our neighbourhood.

We deserve an explanation as to why a notice was sent out to selective areas of

the riding, AFTER the decisions had been signed off in the capital budget!

Should there not have been a consultative process in the community prior to you
signing off on the Capital Budget? Your inability to communicate and your
attempts at passing the buck and blaming others are cowardly and unacceptable
Mr. Orlikow.

Mr. Orlikow, you voted in favour of these changes to our streets at City Council
and then further supported them at Community Committee all the while not
bothering to tell the residents of your ward about them.

The residents of River Heights deserve and demand better!

On Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 8AM the residents of your ward will be
gathering at Waverley and Grosvenor to express our opposition to the traffic
obstructions that created problems where none existed before, and pose a
SERIOUS safety hazard to residents ofour community.

We expect you to attend with an explanation.

In the interest of fairness, we have also requested the attendance of Mr. Michael
Kowalson.
