THE OFFICIAL REGULATIONS OF THE PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN

" A JOURNEY ROUND UNILEVER’S WORLD”

SECTION 1. THE ORGANIZER OF THE PROMOTIONALCAMPAIGN

1.1. The organizers of the promotional campaign " A JOURNEY ROUND UNILEVER’S
WORLD” (hereinafter called the "Promotion") is S.C. Unilever South Central Europe SA.
(hereinafter called the "Organizer" or "Unilever"), with the registered office in Ploiesti, Bd.
Republicii nr.291, jud.Prahova, registered at the local Data Protection Authority under nr.
2200. This Promotion is carried out through S.C. netWing International S.R.L, with the
registered office in Bd. Constructorilor, nr.20A, Cladirea IPROMET, sector 6, Bucuresti,
hereinafter called the “Agency netWing”.

1.2. The promotion will be carried out in the form of a contest according to the provisions of
these official regulations (hereinafter called the "Regulations"), these being mandatory for all
the Participants. The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Official Regulations
throughout the Promotion, by drawing up an addendum to these Regulations, such
modifications following to enter into force on the date of public notification of the addendum
containing these modifications.

SECTION 2. LEGAL GROUNDS

2.1. This Promotion is carried out according to the provisions of the Government Ordinance
nr. 99/2000 regarding the merchandising of market products and services, as eventually
modified.

SECTION 3. AREA OF RUNNING THE CAMPAIGN

3.1. This Promotion is organized and carried out over the whole territory of Romania,
according to the provisions of these Regulations, and is addressing all the natural persons
with steady domicile in Romania and/or residence in Romania.

SECTION 4. PROMOTION TERM

4.1. This Promotion is carried out through the period November 17th 2010 the time 00:00:00 –
December 22nd 2010 the time 12:00:00, including by means of one mechanism implemented
in the site www.unilevergame.com (hereinafter called the “Site” , site in the property of
Unilever), namely a “case study” mechanism.

4.2. The “case study” mechanism is implemented under the form of some “case studies”,
posted by the Organizer in the beginning of each Promotion stage, which the participants are
expected to solve by giving correct answers to the problems raised by each individual case

study; the contest implemented through this mechanism is run on the site
www.unilevergame.com in 4 steps, as follows:

- the first case study will be posted by the Organizer on the page dedicated to the
Promotion on November 17th 2010 the time 00:00:00, and the answers corresponding to the
questions posted by this case study can by registered on the Site until November the 24th
2010 the time 12:00:00;

- the second case study will be posted by the Organizer on the page dedicated to the
Promotion on November the 24th 2010 the time 12:00:01, and the answers corresponding to
the questions posted by this case study can by registered on the Site until December the 1st
2010 the time 12:00:00;

- the third case study will be posted by the Organizer on the page dedicated to the
Promotion on December the 1st 2010 the time 12:00:01, and the answers corresponding to
the questions posted by this case study can by registered on the Site until December the 8th
2010 the time 12:00:00;

- the fourth case study will be posted by the Organizer on the page dedicated to the
Promotion on December the 8th 2010 the time 12:00:01, and the answers corresponding to
the questions posted by this case study can by registered on the Site until December the 15th
2010 the time 12:00:00;

- the fifth case study will be posted by the Organizer on the page dedicated to the
Promotion on December the 15th 2010 the time 12:00:01, and the answers corresponding to
the questions posted by this case study can by registered on the Site until December the 22nd
2010 the time 12:00:00.

4.3. The period of registration and participation in this Promotion through the two
mechanisms described according to the Regulations starts on November 17th 2010 the time
00:00:00, and goes by, within the above mentioned stages, until December 22nd 2010 the
time 12:00:00 inclusively.

4.4. All cases studies will become available only in English language and participants are required
to submit the answers in English language as well. Communication with participants will be held in
English or in Romanian language.

- if al best scoring constestants answer in the same number of attempts then we will award the person
who responded as the first one based on the server time of answer submission

4.5. For each correctly solved case a participant scores 5 points depending on the completeness
and correctness of the submitted answer. For each incorrectly solved case a participant scores 0 point.

SECTION 5. THE RIGHT OF PARTICIPATION

5.1. Not allowed to participate in this Promotion are the employees of the Organizer, the
employees of the agencies involved in implementing and developing of this Promotion, and
the family members of all these (children, parents, brothers/sisters, husband/wife).

5.2. Any natural persons (hereinafter called the Participants) with the domicile/residence in
Romania, with the age between 18 - 26 years, who are students in a state and/or private
education institution, regardless the type of courses attended, respectively full-time and/or
distance learning, can participate in the Promotion.

5.3. The participation in this Promotion implies the knowledge of, and the full, express and
undisputed agreement with these Regulations.

SECTION 6. PRIZES AWARDED

6.1. Within this Promotion the following categories of prizes can be won:

- 1 big prize, consisting in one Ipod Touch Model 8GB in value of 838.9 RON +VAT and 1
Rucksack in value of 60,04 RON + VAT; this prize is awarded to the person having
accumulated the most points through the 5 contest stages;

- 2 prizes 2, consisiting each in one Ipod Nano Model 8GB, blue colour, in value of 582
RON/each +VAT; these prizes will be awarded to the next 2 classified, based on the points
obtained through the 5 contest stages;

- 3 prizes 3, consisiting each in one Ipod Shuffle Model 2GB,blue colour, in value of 179
RON/each+VAT; these prizes will be awarded to the next 3 classified, based on the points
obtained through the 5 contest stages.

- 4 mentions, consisting each in a MP3 Player in value of 115,48 RON/each + VAT and a
Rucksack in value of 62,18 RON + VAT; these prizes will be awarded to the next 4
classified, based on the points obtained through the 5 contest stages.

- 3 small prizes consisting in:

• First small prize: Agenda in value of 47,17 RON + VAT + Rucksack in value
of 62,18 RON + VAT and a gift box with Unilever’s products;

• Second small prize – Rucksack in value of 62,18 RON + VAT and 1 gift box
with Unilever’s products.

• Third small prize - Rucksack in value of 62,18 RON + VAT and 1 gift box
with Unilever’s products.

These 3 small prizes will be awarded to the next 3 classified, based on the points obtained
through the 5 contest stages.

The prizes within this mechanism are awarded in descending order of the points accumulated
by the participants in the Promotion through the 5 contest stages, so that the big prize is
awarded to the participant with the highest score, the two prizes 2 are awarded to the next 2
classified, the three prizes 3 are awarded to the next 3 classified, the prize 4 is awarded to the
next classified participant and the 3 small prozes are awarded to the next 3 classified.

To be able to accumulate points and win one of the prizes of this Promotion, all the
participants in this Promotion mechanism should give true answers to the 5 case studies
posted by the Organizer on the Site, through the 5 contest stages.

6.2. The total value of the prizes given within this Promotion amounts RON [ ] (VAT
included). The value of the prizes exceeding the threshold of RON 600 consists in the value
mantioned at art.6.1 above, to which the withholding tax is to be added.

6.3. The prizes given within this Promotion can not be replaced with other prizes and/or
products and neither their equivalent value in cash can be given. In case no winner appointed
can be validated, according to the procedures detailed in these Regulations, or in the case
when the winner appointed refuses or does not accept the prize (the refuse of a winner
meaning that the respective winner does not wish to enter in the possession of the prize,
refuse expressly and unequivocally manifested to this end), this will loose the right of being
awarded the prize, without any indemnification from the Organizer. A winner can not transfer
the rights over the prize to any other person.

6.4. The awarding procedure for each prize is detailed in the Section 8 of these Regulations.
The prizes can not be assigned by the winner to third persons.

SECTION 7. THE PROMOTION MECHANISMS

7.1. To participate in the Promotion through its mechanism, the consumers interested
should first enter the site www.unilevergame.com during the Promotion term, fill in the
corresponding form with the name, e-mail address, country and education institution which is
attended by the respective participant, then to participate in the contest posted by the
Organizer in the Promotion. The points accumulated by each participant within the
Promotion are recorded in the account created for each participant on registration in the
Promotion . In caser that more participant have the same score in the Campaign in such a
situation the Organizer will award the contestant who responded correctly with lesser number of
attempts to solve the case (e.g. first approach comparing to two approaches of the other person). If all
best scoring participants answer in the same number of attempts then the Organizer will award the
person who responded as the first one based on the server time of answer submission.

7.2. The “case study” is implemented as follows:

7.2.1. To participate in the Promotion by means of this mechanism, the consumers interested
should, during the period and daily hourly interval for registration in the Promotion according
to art. 4.2 above, visit the page dedicated to the Promotion in the Site and answer correctly to
the problems and questions posted at each case study generated by the Organizer for each
Promotion stage. The questions existing at each case study address economic and financial
aspects related to the activity of a commercial company. The Participants will give answers to
the questions posted at each case study, according to their own opinions and beliefs, but the
Organizer will score only the correct answers.

7.2.2. Based on the answers posted by a participant for the case studies presented by the
Organizer in the Promotion page, a participant can receive points from the Organizer,
provided the comments/answers offered to the case studies posted by the Organizer are
correct.

7.3. The Promotion Organizer will not be liable:

a. for incorrect/incomplete registrations in the Promotion, for the registrations in which


the participants have not accumulated points through the mechanism detailed at art.7.2 above,
and for the registrations done after the deadline of each individual Promotion stage;

b. for losses or delays in filling in the electronic forms, determined by factors


independent of the will or control of the Organizers;

c. if the e-mail address mentioned on registration on the site www.unilevergame.com


can not be identified. In such a case, the Organizer will neither be able to answer the
prticipant in the Promotion, nor to contact him/her in case he/she are appointed as potential
winners;

d. for interruptions not announced of the internet service and/or the server hosting the
site, owed to the concourse of internet networks for the periods of intense traffic.

7.4. All the electronic forms of registration into the Promotion will be verified on their
receipt/registration by representatives of the Organizer, in view of checking if the
participation conditions mentioned in these Regulations are met.

7.5. The Organizer and his agents will not be liable for the incomplete or incorrect
registrations, which do not meet the conditions mentioned in art. 7.1 of the Regulations, or
for those not meeting the Promotion regulations. Such registrations will not be valid, and the
respective participant will not be registered in the Promotion with the respective registration.

7.6. The registrations for participation meeting the conditions mentioned in these Regulations
will be validated and registered into the Promotion.

7.7. Not considered valid and not included in the Promotion will be the comments which are
taken from other sources, not meeting the parameters and conditions detailed in these
Regulations or the usage license of which belongs to third parties. The Organizer will not be
liable for the answers given by the participants in this Promotion and reserves the right to
eliminate from the Promotion any participant transmitting offending, racist or obscene
information, or which is likely to be taken from sources other than the personal knowledge
thereof. All the same, would the Organizer or his agents acknowledge (in any way) any
frauds, deceptions or similar actions, likely to induce (according to the opinion of the
Organizer, which will be final) an adverse effect on the Promotion, the Organizer, the image
and integrity and/or security thereof, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify such
registrations and expell them from the Promotion, and file any indemnification actions
against the sender of the respective materials.

7.8. Therefore the participants registered in the Promotion, senders of the registration
messages, are the only ones liable before the Organizer, any third parties and/or authorities
for the information sent therein, and will be direcltly responsible for any claims, petitions,
demands, sanctions, fines and/or prejudices born and/or enforced to the Organizer, the
Agency, any third parties and/or any authorities.

7.9. The Organizer is committed to provide all the conditions and technical and logistic
support necessary to detect the registrations in the Campaign containing offending, racist
images, contrary to the customs or against the provisions of these Regulations.

7.10. If there are cases when two participants have scored the same number of votes,
winner will be declared the one who has reached the first the respective number of votes.

7.11. Every participant can apply for the Campaign only once. Repeated participation is not
allowed. This applies to participation in another country or under different nicknames. The
deciding criteria is the home university of the participant in case the participant takes part in
the Unilever Game in more regions. One participant can win only one award, regardless of
the region.

SECTION 8. WINNER APPOINTMENT AND PRIZE AWARDING

8.1. The winners of the Promotion prizes will be appointed by a commission including a
representative of the Organizer and a representative of the Agency netWing, based on the
number of points accumulated by the participants in the Promotion. Thus, the winners of the
prizes will be appointed on December 22nd 2010, at 6 o’clock p.m., based on the points
accumulated by the participants.

8.2. The winners appointed within this Promotion will be contacted at the e-mail address
recorded through the electronic form for registration on site, within 48 hours from the
designation of each one as potential winner, to notify him/her about the prize winning, the
conditions and modalities by which this will enter into the possession of the prize. Contacting
the winners and the preliminary validation thereof will be done by the representatives of the
Organizer.

8.3. In case of receipt of a notifying e-mail, the winner should contact the Organizer within 7
(seven) working days from e-mail receipt, at the telephone number indicated in the validation
e-mail. In case the respective winner does not contact the Organizer within the term
mentioned, this will be invalidated and will loose the capacity of winner, without any
indemnifications from the Organizer. In case a winner is invalidated, the prize will be
awarded to the next classified on the list from the respective period, respectively to the
participant with the highest score/votes accumulated. In case of telephonic contacting of the
Organizer by the potential winner, the latter must confirm his/her participation in the
Promotion and the data communicated through the electronic form for registration in the
Promotion. Should the data communicated by the potential winner dovetail with those
communicated through the registration form, he/she will be requested to specify the name,
forename, birth date and the full address, the education institution which is attended by the

respective winner, the e-mail address from which the registration has been done, subject to
his/her previous express and unequivocal agreement with the introduction of his/her personal
data in the data base of the Organizer, processed by the Agency netWing, in view of
preliminary telephonic validation and prize award.

8.4. The impossibility for the participant to communicate by telephone the data recorded in
the electronic form, finding any mismatches between the data communicated by telephone
and those recorded in the form, or the refusal of the potential winner, expressly and
unequivocally manifested, regading the communication of his/her personal data, will result in
his/her invalidation as potential winner and the loss of the right to prize award, without any
indemnifications from the Organizer, and the representatives of the Organizer will proceed to
appointing another winner, by order of the score accumulated. In case the next winners are
found to be in any of the situations previously mntioned in this article, they will loose the
right to prize award, without any indemnifications from the Organizer, and the respetive
prizes remain at the disposal of the Organizer.

8.5. The taxable prizes, respectively amounting more than RON 600, awarded within the
Promotion, and the 2nd and 3rd prizes awarded within the second mechanism based on „case
studies”, will reach the winners by the care of the Organizer within 60 days from the date of
preliminary telephonic validation thereof, on presentation of the winners at the address of
the Organizer in view of picking up the prizes. On presentation for the final validation, the
winners are obliged to show their original ID, otherwise the Organizer reserves the right to
invalidate the winner and not award him/her the respective prize. Also, in case the
representative of the Organizer finds the existence of any mismatches between the data
submitted by telephone and those from the ID presented by the winner, he/she will be
invalidated without any indemnifications or other compensating prize, the Organizer
reserving the right to not awarding the respective prize.

8.6. The final validation of the winners of the taxable prizes and the prize award will be
recorded in a protocole signed by the representative of the Organizer and by the winner, in
which they will include the PNC of the winner as well, necessary for the carrying out of the
fiscal obligations of promotion organizers.

8.7. The prizes representing the mentions given in the Promotion will be sent to the
winners with acknowledgement of receipt and declared value, to the address communicated
by these by telephone, within 60 days from the date of their preliminary telephonic
validation. On behalf of the Organizer, the Agency will provide the sending of the prizes to
the winners. These will be sent by the Romanian Post, by postal parcel. The postal parcel will
be sent with acknowledgement of receipt to each winner. The Organizer is committed,
through their authorized agent, S.C. netWing International S.R.L, to send the Promotion
prizes under safe conditions and in proper packages, marked FRAGILE, in view of keeping
the integrity and quality thereof. The Organizer and the Agency netWing will assume no
responsibility for the parcels reaching the winners damaged following handling failures of the
Romanian Post. In such a case, the Romanian Post will grant indemnifications to the
Organizer, through S.C. NetWing International S.R.L., according to the tariffs in force.

SECTION 9. DATA CONFIDENTIALITY

9.1. To carry out the Promotion, the Organizer will process the personal data of the
participants in this Promotion, according to the Law 677/2001, in its capacity of operator
registered at the National Authority for Surveillance of the Processing of Personal Data by
the nr.2220

9.2. By submitting their personal data through the modalities expressly indicated by the
Regulations, the respective persons set forth their express and unequivocal agreement with
their personal data entering the data base of the Organizer, in view of registration into the
Promotion, validation and prize award and if the case may be, with the fulfillment of the
fiscal obligations of the promotion organizers (in the case of taxable prizes).

9.3. The Organizer and the Agencies hereby guarantee the confidentiality of the personal data
of all the Participants. The persons concerned here, according to the Law 677/2001, the
following rights: the right to information (art. 12), the right to access to data (art.13), the right
to intervention on the data (art. 14), the right to opposition (art. 15), the right of not being
subject to an individual decision (art. 17) and the right to go to law (art. 18). To exert these
rights, the Participants will submit to the Organizer at the address Şos. Bucureşti-Ploieşti
nr.42-44, Clădirea B1-B2, et. 4, Sector 1, Bucureşti, a request drawn up in writing, dated and
signed.

9.4. The persons concerned have the right to obtain from the Organizer, by request and free
of charge, the confirmation of the fact that the data related to them are or are not processed by
the Organizer and also have the right to oppose anytime to their data being the object of a
processing, save for the cases in which contrary legal provisions exist. The persons concerned
have the right to The persons concerned have the right to demand, by written request
addressed to the Organizer, the erasing or the updating of their personal data according to the
provisions of the Law 677/2001. To exert these rights, the Persons concerned will send a
written request, dated and signed, to S.C Unilever South Central Europe S.A, at the address:

SECTION 10. THE ANNOUNCING OF PRIZE WINNERS

The list with the names of all the winners of the Promotion will be published on the site
www.unilever.ro aftee the final validation thereof, respectively until [ ] at the latest.

SECTION 11. FORCE MAJEURE

11.1 For the purposes of these Regulations, force majeure means any events which can not be
controlled, repaired or foreseen by the Organizer, including the impossibility for the
Organizer, for reasons independent of his will, the appearance of which is makes impossible
for the latter to fulfill the obligations assumed by these Regulations.

11.2 If a force majeure situation prevents or totally or partially delays the execution of these
Regulations and the eventual development of the Promotion, the Organizer will be
exonerated from the responsibilty regading the fulfillment of his obligations for the period in

which this fulfillment will be prevented or delayed, according to art.1082 and 1083 of the
Civil Code. The Organizer, if he invokes the force majeure, is obliged to communicate to the
Participants in the Promotion the existence thereof, within 5 working days from the
occurence of the force majeure case.

SECTION 12. LITIGATIONS AND FRAUDS

12.1 In case of ant litigations appeared between the Organizer and the Participants in this
Promotion, these will be reconciled amiably. If the amiable reconciliation is not possible, the
parties involved will forward the litigation for reconciliation to the competent Romanian
courts of law from the registered office of the Organizer.

12.2 The eventual complaints related to the development and implementation of the
Promotion can be sent throughout the Promotion, as set forth in these Regulations, to the
following address: S.C Unilever South Central Europe S.A, Şos. Bucureşti-Ploieşti nr.42-44,
Clădirea B1-B2, et. 4, Sector 1, Bucureşti. After the date of publishing the winners according
to these Regulations, the Organizer will not consider any complaints.

12.3 The Organizer is entitled to take all the necessary measures in case of attempt os system
fraud, abuse or any other attempts likely to affect the image or the costs of this Promotion.

SECTION 13. THE OFFICIAL PROMOTION REGULATIONS

13.1 By participating into this Promotion, the Participants agree to observe and conform to all
the provisions, terms and conditions of these Regulations.

13.2. The Regulations of the Promotion will be available free of charge to any applicant, at
the address: S.C Unilever South Central Europe S.A, Şos. Bucureşti-Ploieşti nr.42-44,
Clădirea B1-B2, et. 4, Sector 1, Bucureşti, with the mention “for the promotional campaign
"A JOURNEY ROUND UNILEVER’S WORLD”.

These Regulations have been drawn up and attested by the “Cabinet Lawyer Simona Coman”
from Campina, today 10.11.2010, in 4 copies, of wich 3 have been given to the party.
