Mail Client is a tool used for sending & Receiving Mails

Some of the important activities of a mail client are Compsosing ,

Drafting , Sending , Receiving etc..

Such tools are not able to used by the People who are visually
impaired
Many Computer Applications came to exsistence for those people
after the evolution Braillie System of Education

Due to the absence of such functionality for the blind they are not
able to use the world’s best communication utility EMails
Due to Non-availability of Existing System we describe here an
email client
This System also sends and receive mails

It then converts the mails to speech.

It also transcripts them into Braille Script with special emphasis

So that visually impaired people will also be able to read mails

The proposed system increases the availability of information and

use of technology for handicapped that is for visually impaired
individuals
 Email Client is a lightweight & portable e-mail clien which is able
to read the mails
The System also transcripts mails into Braille for blind persons
It works as a Client Application for listening , reading and sending
mails using POP3 and SMTP Protocol
The system will read date of its arrival , the sender mail ID, the
subject of the Mail and body of the message.
These information are then converted in Braille and sent on paper
that can be embossed .

We used SAPI( Speech API) which is already featured to convert

text to speech

 So for we designed our system considering all the aspects of

providing e-mail client application to blind people
 Microsoft speech SDK is used to voice recongination of users Input
to process commands
 We also present a Braille keyboard system for blind people.
 We designed and developed mail client application

Microsoft speech SDK 5.1
 CONCLUSION

 In this project report, we clearly described all the factor on creating

a mail client for blind people . This report includes the existing
system and proposed system and system architecture .

 The system can be turned at any level based on the demand

requirement.
