GSM:-

(Global system for mobile communication)

It supports simcard (it work with sim) its frequency is “900 MHz to 1800 MHz” it is digital work.

CDMA:-

(Code division multiple access)

It works without sim with help of frequency coding. It frequency is 800 MHz.

SINGLE BAND:-

The mobile support only one frequency. it is 900 MHz, 1800 MHz .

Ex: - 5110 old Sims, old Eriksson models.

Dual Band:-

The mobile supports dual network IC 900 MHz and 1800 MHz.
SIM:-

(Subscriber identity module)

Sim card are two types:-

• Smart card.
• Stamp size card.

• Store phone book.

• Pin number (Personal identity fecation).

• Voice mail.

Sim Card Problems:-

• Insert sim.
• Simcard not accepted.
• No network.
• Sim blocked.

Sim card Manufacture:-

Germany, Singapore, Canada, Switzerland, Finland, Hongkong and UK.

Usage of SimCard:-

Credit Card, MP Member and Card Peto Card.

Lock:-

There are two types of Lock.

 • Pin Lock.
• Phone Lock.

Pin Lock:-

This is for sim only default code is [0000]

Phone Lock:-

This lock is only for phone security.

Default security codes:-

Philips - 1234 (New).

Nokia - 12345.
Motorola - 0000 or 000000 or 00000000 or 1234.
Motorola and Nokia except other phone’s security codes are 0000.

Sim Voltage:-

Sim voltage is 3v and 5v.

Mobile virus:-

Mobile virus “ACE” & unbelievable “VELASCO”.
