In our pursuit to become a model institution of higher learning in the health discipline, we will be holding our 4
Nursing Research Congress with the theme “Merging the Spectrum of New Lights” at 8 am – 12 pm at the Manila
Tytana Colleges (MTC) Gymnasium on February 23, 2011. This will showcase health-related researches
conducted by students of different nursing schools in Metro Manila. Please see attached program.

Initially, this letter is a call for paper for the said academic venture. An abstract of student research following the
format indicated in the attached document can be submitted to the Research Center of the MTC via email
address michael_delacruz_leocadio@yahoo.com on or before February 11, 2011. The approved paper will be
presented orally or through a poster presentation.

The research abstract can be in any of the four facets of nursing research: Nursing Practice, Community Health
Nursing, Nursing Education and Nursing Administration

Your interest in this activity will contribute to the recognition of professional excellence in research to cater the
national and international standards for health care through the discovery of new knowledge and awareness
instrumented by the research studies conducted by your nursing students.

Further, we would like to invite you to send 10 to 15 students with their respective research instructors and faculty
members to participate in the said congress. Your participation will expand the scholastic perspectives of students
in health-related research studies. A registration fee* will be collected from the participants as listed below:
