The Runic Formula and the Bindrunes

Laguz, Gebo, Mannaz, Elhaz, Dagaz, Ehwaz, Naudiz, Eihwaz,

Mannaz, Ingwaz, Wunjo and Mannaz

Red = fire runes: will, invoking causal power, love as a force.

What follows is an introduction to the nature of each rune in the

Runic Formula of the Torch of Life. The runes of the formula are
arranged in Triplets. The Triplets later become the Bindrunes. The
Bindrunes are a union of the nature of the three runes of each Triplet.
It was with the principle “the union is greater than the sum of its
parts” in mind that the Bindrunes found their form on the Galdrastafr.

I relate to each rune as a geometric conduit of multi-versal

intelligence. I intuit that the runes exist through many levels of mind
and memory. To those of us who study and/or meditate with them,
they have both a cultural meaning and a personal symbolic
relevance. Yet as they also exist as universals so they have a
galactic and universal depth. In the vast collective mind of all life kind
I perceive that the runes act as pathways of intuition
(feeling/knowing) and provide structure for the teaming possibilities
that are expressed as manifestation by all local universal minds.
TRIPLET 1

Laguz - Sacred Water, Life Rune, Magic, Intelligence,

Art, The Collective Emotional Field.

This rune is the glyph of Sacred Water and the rune of

Life. It is the conveyor of the fundamental life force and
the flow of the vital essence which is breathed into all
things. It is paradoxically subtle in the extreme and
awesome in the relentlessness of its flow. It is like a
small stream that carves a mountain and at the same
time is all the streams of the waters of the Earth and the
flow of vital essence in our bodies, in our veins, arteries
and soul light pathways.

Laguz is the power behind the impetus for growth,

always calling for a progression of Divine Expression. It
is that infinitely adaptable magic that is at the root of all
things from mineral to mammal, from microcosm to
macrocosm impulsing change into the new. Its core
radiates the intelligence behind the intelligence of our
awareness.

Laguz is both the nature of our channels of intuition and

the resonant stimulation behind the matrix of all ideas. It
is the energy that impulses our expansion into ever
greater potential. Impulsing us to create all our forms
with loving attention, intending beauty through our art,
bringing pleasure to the eye and heart through resonant
expression. It is always encouraging us to develop our
awareness and understanding of the nature of self
further.

Laguz is the fluid emotional field of the collective, the

emotional body of all that is. It could also be related to
as the umbilical cord to the Divine Mother, from and to
every navel in every universe.

Gebo - Gift of Love, Mystical Union, Partnership with
the Divine, Unlimited Pleasure, Freedom, Self-
Awareness, Unification/Re-Unification

Gebo is the gift of love. The mystery of mystical union,

the wholeness achieved through merging the human
personality in full partnership with the divine self, I AM
that I AM.

It is the ecstasy of unlimited pleasure, the flame of

passion that the totality of being has for the reflection of
itself that is our universe. It is the lovers whose union
conceived the isness of multiversal manifestation, and
so is also the symbol of our/all Divine Parents.

The energy behind this Rune is the seeker of balance,

the power that creates harmony through the exchange
of energy. It is the irresistible power of attraction that
creates the re-union that is experienced when the spark
returns to the flame and remembers the knowing of
itself as the flame.

Gebo is the gift of all the creative potential and power of

totality placed in all the facets of totality,
holographically, with all of the love for totality at its
heart. It is the gift of all the power and light of creator
nature that the Cosmic Giver gave to all the facets of
itself that voyaged into the infinite lifescapes of
multidimensional experience.

Gebo is the divine gift to the inquisitive ones who

choose individuality of consciousness. It is given to all
who travel through the innumerable inter-dimensional
interstellar junction boxes of countless galaxies and
continuums of time and space to all the outposts of
worldly experience, that they would grow in their
potential and create, with the Gift, infinite further
expansions of Light, Love and Harmonic Manifestation.

Mannaz - Ancient of Ancients, Source Self, Crystal
Human, Blueprint, Adam Kadmon, I AM that I AM

This Rune is the Ancient of Ancients, the Source Self

that experiences all possible lives simultaneously in the
ever changing eternal now moment, the infinite jewel
that is All that Is. This power is the memory of
timelessness and the knowledge of true identity.

Mannaz is the archetype, the blueprint of balanced

human beings, left and right aspects working together
in a harmonic unity, making the realization of self as the
I AM that I AM.

Its frequency encourages co-operation and unity feeling

through the memory that we are all divine offspring. It is
our motivation towards perfection, our self-attraction to
our own divinity. Mannaz reminds us that what we can
conceive of we can manifest without exception, that
who we are is the Essence of Love and that our nature
is as ageless multidimensional love light star beings co-
creating everything constantly with all the star masters
and the Source. Mannaz is the knowing behind our
intelligence and imagination and is the mystery of
humanity.

The 1st Bindrune - Remembrance

The first bindrune, top right of the Galdrastafr, blends

the essences of the first triad of runes in the twelve-
rune formula: Laguz, Gebo and Mannaz. It is as a
clarion call to our Self-remembrance, lifting the veil of
spiritual amnesia. Its rune song sings to us of our
 limitless potential, both as individuals and as a
collective, illuminating the inner calling to our high self
and impulsing us to choose to blend with our higher
nature. It serves as a self-initiatory gateway into the
vastness of our human divinity and our highest potential
future. It calls our higher light into our matter bodies
through invoking our divine self-image as the template
for further evolution, asking us to surrender to our
higher nature as enlightened humans. Its silent melody
communes with our innate emotional intelligence,
inviting us to dream the vision of Spirit with Spirit into
our collective planetary reality as Heaven on Earth.

Elhaz - Spirit of Humanity, Earth Wizard, Faith in the

Divine Presence, Protection through being I AM

This intelligence is the Spirit that is Humanity,

grounding eternal presence into worldly experience
through the Heart of the Earth Mother. Reaching for the
heavens it represents our personal connection to the
Great Central Sun.

This Rune is the power of faith: Faith in the Light, faith

in the Love that created us and faith in our selves as
the Light that is all things. It reminds us that being our
Divine Selves is all the protection we could ever
require.

As the ancient Druidic symbol of Knowledge, Truth and

Wisdom it radiates the power of the Spiritual Warrior
and encourages us to take full responsibility for our
selves and for what we have created in our lives and in
our world.

Rune of the Guardian it helps us anchor our Earth

Stewardship in alignment with the Divine Plan for Earth
and directs our immense creative abilities in the
harmonious direction of World Unification. Known as
the most powerful Runic form of protection it has been
used recently as the world-renowned C.N.D symbol.

Radiating the eternal truth of the one everything, this

Mystery enfolds all things in its Archangelic wings.

does not exist, embodying the principal of the
depolarization of consciousness. Rune of truth,
transmutation and Divine light Dagaz embraces both
the polarities manifest in our reality. It reminds us that
all that exists is Divine Manifestation without exception.
This eternal intelligence transmits the frequency of
Enlightenment, the truth of the Divine awareness
behind our consciousness, the Omnipresent Source
Vibration, the Oneness I AM.

Stimulating the re-appraisal of situations and belief

structures Dagaz impulses wholesome changes in
attitude that help us manifest new beginnings and
opportunities. As the dawn of a new Creation it shines
the Source Light of the Cosmic One. Dagaz is the Tau
of Chinese wisdom, the unified Yin and Yang, the
paradox of the singularity of duality.

Ehwaz - Compassionate Knowing, Heart
Communication, Harmonic Relations, Divine
Messenger
This is the Rune of compassionate knowing, of total
trust and loyally. Known as the Sacred Horse it calls
forth Divine Self-help to be sent from the Heart of
Heaven direct to the soul of the aspect in ‘need’ of Self
Love, in our case our species as a unified being.

Ehwaz is also the unity created by the integration of the

masculine and feminine aspects of Divinity, not only in
society and personal relationships, but within the self. It
reminds us that spirit is genderless.

Stimulating beneficial relationship changes within the

structure of society through heart communication and
co-operation, this Divine Messenger carries forth fresh
dreamfields of potential. Ehwaz is the attracting energy
of the harmonious union of complimentary opposites on
a personal to planetary level. It teaches honor, dignity
and spiritual equality. It is the gentle touch of the hand
of Love.

The 2nd Bindrune - Awakening of the Bodhisattva

The second bindrune, on the bottom right, blends the

essences of the second triad of runes in the twelve-
rune formula: Elhaz, Dagaz and Ehwaz. Like the Sword
of Truth, this Bindrune stimulates our planetary
stewardship and invites us to act as protectors of all life.
It proclaims that we are here to live our enlightenment
as a moment-to-moment experience of service to
existence as Bodhisattvas / Buddhas / Christs /
Mahatmas / Quetzalcoatls / Melchizedekians of the
 Legions of Light. It stimulates compassion, emotional
stability, faith, loyalty, truth, trust and wisdom in all
relations and activities. Invoking the de-polarization of
consciousness, it impulses us to orient our behaviours
to Spirit-based reality, wills us to feel the oneness of
existence through the wholeness of our open hearts
and hold our species and all life as kin.

TRIPLET 3

Naudiz - Now it Is! The Infinite Now Moment, Zero

Point, Self Deliverance through Self Mastery

This Mystery is time as a simultaneous unity. The point

where all the interactions of all the forces of creation
meet, the centre point of the eternal now moment from
which all potential is projected into manifestation. In
human existence Naudiz utilizes all thoughts, emotions
and actions from the ‘past’ as a template for the
manifestation of the present, it is the Space-time reality
projector through which the manifestation of
phenomenon is meditated. This intelligence
unconditionally moulds manifestation collectively and
individually to our requirements according to what we
dwell upon. Our thoughts determine our reality. "Be
mindful of the Force!"

Naudiz stimulates the intelligence of forethought, the

awareness of the patterns from the ‘past’ and ‘present’
that will shape our ‘future’. Willing us to develop cosmic
common sense at our own pace, this power helps us
remain down to earth while retaining the awareness of
our divinity.

Teacher of the lessons of life this Rune is the power of

spontaneous inspiration; it reminds us that "Necessity is
the Mother of Invention". Rune of Spiritual development
and protection, it encourages discernment and thinking
for oneself. As the Dispenser of deliverance Naudiz is
the Spiritual Fire that wells up from within, overcoming
adversity. It is the strength that can be called upon to
face challenges with confidence. Naudiz is the alchemy
that turns weakness into strength, the power that
makes the seemingly impossible possible.

Eihwaz - Yggdrasil The Tree of Life, The Cosmic Axis,

The Cycles of Life and Death, Child of Eternal Growth,
Irrepressible Endurance

Eihwaz is the Tree of Life, Yggdrasil the Cosmic Axis.

Its branches are all the streams of life that infinity ever
expresses. The cycles of existence are expressed
through its form, the in-breath and out-breath,
manifestation and re-absorption back into the ocean of
unmanifest potential. This mystery is the generator of
stability within the cycles of life and growth. Its form
indicates the unity of spirit and matter.

Eihwaz is the child of eternal growth that moves

through countless forms and stages. It is the stability
and endurance which is unwavering in its strength, it
expresses the deathless nature of the life that flows
through all things. It reminds us that Life and Death are
not adversaries, that they complement each other and
that Eternal Life is not so much about retaining a single
physical expression as it is retaining the memory of true
identity.

 Mastery this Bindrune cuts through the excuses we tell
ourselves which disempower us. It assists us in
overcoming all self-imposed obstacles to self-
emancipation by stimulating inspiration, courage,
humility, endurance, heightened perception and
unwavering strength of spirit. As a spiritual mirror that
reflects the radiance of our highest self into our Now
incarnation, it exposes and transforms our illusions and
delusions through the Essence of Divine Grace. It
illuminates the blossoming of the flower of the soul,
impulsing responsibility for all thoughts, feelings and
actions. Radiating deathlessness as remembrance of
self as Spirit, it invokes the will to embrace self-mastery
through referencing the divine self-image as a template
for further evolution.

Ingwaz - Genetic Memory Bank (DNA), Tzolkin (260

day Harmonic Module), Limitless Potential, Sacred
enclosure of Whole Earth Multiverse

The power that Ingwaz embodies is the total genetic

memory bank of the All Being. Ingwaz is the Sacred
Seed of potential energy, the power of process, of
action, of creativity. Ingwaz holds within it the power of
limitless expansion and the pattern for all future
manifestation. Its symbolic form shows the structure of
the DNA Helix, the collective pattern of genetic knowing
and potential that is the merging of the masculine and
feminine in creative union. Its form is also that of the
Tzolkin’s Galactic Activation Portals.

This primal power gathers its intensity and projects its

fertility into the egg of creation through the ecstatic
release. Through the Divine Magic of procreation it
reminds us that we are our own Creators, Ancestors
and Children. As the sacred enclosure of the Whole

Wunjo is the Love, Delight, Pleasure and Joy

the Stars. With the innocence of a new born its power
impulses spontaneity centred in the heart. Its eternal
intelligence focuses the truth of the perfection of all
manifestation. Resonating the tone of multiversal
Divinity it teaches self-love as central to the Spiral of
Enlightenment. At its core is the heart realization that I
AM is the Legions of Love expressed throughout the
infinite beauty of the Goddess. Its heavy bows
perpetually produce cosmic fruit in the radiance of the
One Love.

The 4th Bindrune - Re-Birth of the Phoenix

The fourth Bindrune, on the top left, blends the

essences of the fourth triad of runes in the twelve-rune
formula: Ingwaz, Wunjo and Mannaz. This Bindrune
emanates the frequency of the Mother of all Buddha's
who is facilitating humanity’s re-birth like the phoenix,
the flaming bird that is born from the ashes of its former
self. Fruitful and infinite, the human spirit purges itself of
the density that veils its divine heritage.

This Bindrune also emanates spiritual truth in the forms

of original innocence, love and peace. It encourages
deep love for all life as family and reminds us of our
limitless potential to create in harmony within the
natural order. Calling us to live Heaven it inspires the
vision of life as an ongoing story of Co-Creation with
Spirit within which anything is possible. As a gateway of
spiritual maturity for humanity it places self-sovereignty
wholly in the hands of the individual. Communing
directly with the soul of the viewer it triggers the
remembrance of humanity as spiritual royalty, divine
offspring, worthy of all the gifts of Spirit without
condition. It signifies the completion of the Old World
and the beginning of a new stage of planetary creation,
called the Diamond Age by many prophets, within
which fully conscious humans practice the path of
peace as the prime directive. It calls humanity to anchor
world society upon the principles of forgiveness,
honour, truth, trust, and loyalty to life in natural time:
13:20, unifying our world as one World Village called
Heaven on Earth.
