A PETITION

TO: THE STATE OF DELAWARE FOR FREQUENT RADIATION EMISSION

TESTING TO BE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE STATE BY DNREC:

WE, the undersigned citizens of Delaware in light of the Department of Natural

Resources and Environmental Control’s (DNREC’) abject failure to properly conduct
frequent monitoring of radiation levels, that may be air or water borne from the Salem
Nuclear Facility (Salem Nuclear Generating Sta.: Unit 1,2, Hope Creek Generating Sta.: Unit 1)
and Toms River (Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant: Unit 1) emitted into the atmosphere over
Delaware and the Delaware Estuary, in failure to act in their duly-appropriated capacity in
accordance to 29 DE CODE Ch 80 § 8001 (1), and (2), (e) inter alia, to protect, preserve
and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and State of Delaware; to
protect and promote the general safety and welfare of the People in the jurisdiction of
the State of Delaware; We the undersigned citizens of Delaware do hereby demand the
state of Delaware begin frequent monitoring of radiation levels which may be emitted
into the atmosphere and into the waterways of the Delaware Estuary; endangering the
People of Delaware and our natural resources to potential health and safety risks related
to radiation exposure.
