At the end of my senior year of high school, I visited a used furniture store with my Mom. We browsed each section for awhile, not seeing anything that captured our attention. About to leave the store, the owner pointed our attention to the back room where I stumbled

upon bright red diner chairs. Aside from a few minor scratches and one tear, the set of four chairs were in excellent condition. My parents purchased the set as a gift for my birthday. The chairs remained stacked in storage at my parents house until I moved into my own apartment after my freshman year of college. This began the collection of chairs.
