How to use Reliance Huawei EC321 datacard with Tata Indicom?

in India and many of the people in remote areas
where broadband facilities are still not available this
is the only option for reliable internet faster than
dial-up service of BSNL.

But unfortunately for last couple of months Reliance

datacard speed is also have gone very bad and many
times even connectivity is also problem. Other
unfortunate matter is that reliance data cards are
Unlock Phone 3G, 3GS, 4G www.UnlockuriPhoneNow.com/iPhone
locked so evenif you have purchased it by giving
All Version Supported 2.2.1, 3.1 3.1.3, 4.0,
4.0.1, 4.0.2 Upto 4.2.1 them 5000 INR, you can not use it with other service
provider like Tata Indicom or BSNL WLL.

With my experience, I can say that Tata Indicom

CDMA Internet service is definitely better than
Reliance netconnect and if you compare them simultaneously you will notice that it is almost 25% faster
than reliance. So after a many research i decided to switch to Tata Indicom. But now problem was that i
can not use my Huawei EC321 datacard with Tata as it has been locked by Reliance. So after efforts of 3
days i got the solution for that.

Prerequisite: Huawei EC321 datacard which comes with RUIM slot, Tata T- Sim Card, Laptop with
PCMCIA slot.

Procedure:

1) Download BitPim software from here.

2) Read the SPC code of your data card using it.

3) Download CDMA Workshop software from here. Leave comment below and i will send it to your
email.

4) Install the software and insert your data card in

PCMCIA slot.

5) Choose correct COM Port, Click on QCDM, and

than read.

6) You will see all system information on screen.

7) Now Click on Other tab and and there in RUIM setting choose RUIM only.

It will ask for SPC code and you need to give it before changing any setting. Give SPC you have
detected using BitPim.

9) Its done. Insert your T SIM card in the slot of data card and restart the device use software available on
Tata Indicom website to connect to internet.

I am currently writting this hack using Tata Indicom service on Huawei EC321 data card provided by
Reliance.

Hi!
I am using a Reliance ZTE Datacard. Will these steps reset that one also? It has got a Sim card
slot..a normal gsm sim can be plugged in it. Can it be used with tata?

Hi! This is Ankit. I was able to correctly send the spc to the zte modem. but changing or reading
r-uim config is giving errors.(Failed: ruim config was not saved/read. verification#1 was not saved
read…) what to do? please help…

I am able to unlock SPC but in security tab when i select R-uim only or R-uim if available option
and I click on Write button, it says “Failed”. Do I need to put verification #1 and #2? if yes then
what will be the verification code? I am using ZTE MG880 data card..

I tried to download CDMA workshop but asks for login. Can you send me by email.

I am trying to make my Nokia 2865 Tata Indicom phone work. It suddenly stopped incoming and
outgoing calls even though it shows the network and full signal. Even Nokia service center could
not fix it. Any idea what could be reason ?

U CANT ACCES AT RAJASTHAN. BCOZ TILL NOW ROMEING FASILITY NOT
AVAILABLE. SO U GONE TO THERE AND MAKE A NEW CANECTION OF WLL. BUT U
USE UR OLD EC325 DATA CARD.
OTHERWISE U CAN USE TATA INDICOM T-SIM DIRECTLY.

i have a Huawei T1 ETS 2288 but the max speed of modem is 156k . BSNL has EVDO on same
CDMA .By putting different firmware/software they can program cards to work either in EVDO or
the other . Can u pls tell me how to change my modem from 156k to the EVDO speeds . No
firmware available checked from huawei website .

Specified UIM can be used with this Modem”..

Hi I bought MC321+ ZTE datacard but that stopped working last month as I could not initiate the
RConnect interface.

I updated and reinstalled the driver, but no use. took this to ZTE service station they are asking
2000 rupees for updating the firmware. Can this problem be fixed.
New datacard can be bought for Rs. 2490. No use paying all that money again for such a suport

BCOZ INDICOM PROVIDE U-SIM.SO WHN U PUT THE SIM CARD.THE DEVICE WILL
AUTOMATICLY DETECTED U-SIM, OTHER HAND THE PROGRAM ARE DISABLE THAT
TIME.
U ONLY CHANGE THE PROFILE. USER ID & PASSWORD.
