At the end of my senior year of high school, I visited a used furniture store with my Mother. We browsed each section for awhile, not seeing anything that captured our attention. About to leave the store, the owner pointed our attention to the back room where I stumbled upon bright red diner chairs. Aside from a few minor scratches and one tear, the set of four chairs were in excellent condition. My parents purchased the set as a gift for my birthday. The chairs remained stacked in storage at my parents house until I moved into my own apartment after my freshman year of college.
This began the collection of chairs.

Mad for Metal
The red diner chair is one of the most precious in the collection and remains in good condition with a few scratches and tears.
The patio chair was purchased on the side of a road in a set of four, from a lovely old couple.
The leather high top was left behind from the previous renters of the house I currently live in and will most likely remain there once I leave.
The studio chair is covered in a durable, woven fabric and reclines slightly when used. Its primary use consists of sitting quietly at a studio desk.
The orange sewer was a thrift store purchase of a roommate and friend for the sole purpose of sitting beneath a sewing machine.
