Detailed description

SETPL seeks engineers to work for company on contract basis analyzing patents and technical
documents to identify and describe in writing (English) technical distinctions of inventions being patented
(that are described in patent applications) against published/issued patents and technical documents. We
will provide all necessary features like library, lab facility, internet connectivity etc. However, all
candidates must be very strong technically and have a very strong command of English (reading and
writing). Assistance will be provided by e-mail, telephone, training documents, and examples of previous
work-product. Requirements : (1) M-Tech. or PhD in chemical/environmental/civil Engineering. (2) Strong
English speaking, reading and writing skills required. (3) Must have fast computer surfing and handling
skills(running Microsoft Office), and the ability to make and receive telephone calls. (4) 35-50 hours work
per week.

Project description

As part of companies integrated technology development and advancement program, more


dedicated efforts are to be grouped for autonomous technology development. To overcome the short lag
occurred due to time taking process of setting up a research centre and a dedicated team, management
decides to give opportunities to individuals, groups or organizations to perform jointly for a greater cause
and mutual benefits. Based on available technology and resources a key area must be identified, that makes
the overall process of waste water treatment and water handling better with unique features that can accrue
a patent for the company. The overall project is divided on the basis of milestones and are listed bellow.

Milestones

1. Grouping of patents granted and identifying a key area that can be explored.

2. Submission and evaluation of report regarding the necessities for achieving the goal.

3. Preparation and evaluation of complete set of documents for patent committee.

4. Granting of patent.
