NOKIA OVI MAPS PROMOTION

THE FOLLOWING PROMOTION IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC)

ONLY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO CANADIAN LAW. DO
NOT ENTER THIS PROMOTION IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN CANADA (EXCLUDING
QUEBEC) AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR

WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Nokia Ovi Maps
Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are over the
age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, and who have purchased
a Nokia handset prior to the start of the Promotion Period. Employees, officers and directors of Nokia,
Inc. (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production
agencies and Web masters/suppliers (and any individuals residing in their same household) are not
eligible to participate or win. The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Sponsor
reserves the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements in any manner it deems appropriate. By
participating, participants agree to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects. Void
where prohibited.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD: Promotion begins at 4:00:00 p.m. CDT on April 29, 2011 and ends at
11:00:00 p.m. CDT on May 1, 2011 as described in Rule #4 (“Promotion Period”).

3. PROMOTION REGISTRATION: Log in to your Ovi Maps account through your mobile handset to
participate. To sign up for a free Ovi Maps account, click on ‘Sign in/Register’ at http://maps.ovi.com
and follow the onscreen instructions to register for a free Ovi account. You will be asked to provide
your date of birth, email address and mobile phone number and to set up a user name and password.
You may also be invited to opt-in for promotional messaging; however, opt-in is not required in order
sign up for an Ovi Maps account or to be eligible to participate in the Promotion. Participating is
subject to Ovi Service Terms available at https://account.nokia.com/acct/public/termsAndConditions?
serviceId=Ovimaps&country=US. Please see the privacy policy located at
https://account.nokia.com/acct/public/privacyPolicy?serviceId=Ovimaps&country=US for details of
Sponsor’s policy regarding the use of personal information collected in connection with this Promotion.

YOU MUST REGISTER BY THE ABOVE REGISTRATION METHOD TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS

PROMOTION. OVI MAPS ACCOUNT REGISTRATION ALONE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AS AN
“ENTRY” (AS DEFINED IN RULE #4) IN THIS PROMOTION.

4. TO PARTICIPATE: 1. During the Promotion Period, log in to your Ovi Maps account through your
mobile handset or at http://maps.ovi.com. Update your location status by clicking on ‘Ready for next
check in’ and ‘Update Places’ from the Ovi Maps screen (a “Check In”). You will be asked to Check In
by providing a Place Name and Category describing your current location. All locations must be
addresses recognized by Ovi Maps. Each individual Check In must include the hashtag “#OviCheckIn”
to be valid. Upon submission of your Check In, you will also be invited to post your check in to your
social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Posting to your social media account is optional. You
will receive one (1) Entry into the Promotion for each Check In. 2. Enter by sending your name,
address, phone number and email address via email to “Nokia Ovi Maps Promotion” at
ovimapscheckin@ovi.com (an “Email Entry”). All Email Entries must be received by 11:00:00pm CDT
May 1, 2011 to be eligible. Any other forms of Check In or Entry, other than described herein, are void.
For purposes of this Promotion, a participant is defined as an Ovi Maps account holder, uniquely
identified by his or her Ovi username. The Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete,
misdirected, unintelligible or lost Check Ins or emails. Limit of one (1) Email Entry per person/email
address per 24 hour period. Limit of one (1) Check In entry per location per Ovi Maps account per 24-
hour period. The Promotion Period will be made up of three 24-hour periods: 1) 5:00:00 p.m. to
11:59:59 p.m. CDT on April 29, 2011; 2) 12:00:00 a.m. to 11:59:59 p.m. CDT on April 30, 2011; and 3)
12:00:00 a.m. to 11:00:00 CDT on May 1. Entrants may not register with multiple Ovi accounts or
email accounts nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to enter multiple times or under
multiple identities. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple Ovi accounts or email accounts
under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple times will be disqualified and
forfeits any and all prizes won, in Sponsor's discretion. Should multiple users of the same Ovi Maps or
e-mail account enter the Promotion and a dispute thereafter arises regarding the identity of the
participant, the authorized account holder of said account at the time of participation will be
considered the participant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is
assigned the account by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization
which is responsible for assigning the account. Potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor
with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the Ovi account or email
account associated with the winning Entry and/or an eligible entrant. All Entries submitted become the
sole property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

5. WINNER SELECTION: The potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all
eligible Entries received on or about May 4, 2011, by an independent judging agency, whose decisions
are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed
for cash or substituted, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at
its sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Check Ins received.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: Potential winner will be contacted by email message

on or about May 6, 2011 to the email address as recorded in the potential winner’s Ovi Account and
must correctly answer unaided a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to win. Sponsor is not
responsible for any change in participant's email address. Potential winner may be required to
complete, sign and return Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity
Release within seven (7) days of receipt of notification. If documents are not returned in a timely
manner, or if the prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found to be
ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize may be forfeited.

7. PRIZES/ODDS: Grand Prize (1): Nokia N8 mobile phone, Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”)
$431.00 CAD. No mobile phone service will be provided. First Prizes (2): Nokia Ovi Maps Prize
Pack, including one (1) bookbag, one (1) t-shirt, one (1) Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-217 and one (1)
insulated sport bottle. ARV: $115.00 CAD per pack. Total ARV of all prizes: $661.00 CAD. All costs
and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically provided herein are the
responsibility of the winner. Participants understand that phone models may only operate on certain
carrier networks, which may or may not be compatible with participant’s existing network, if any.
Requests for phones compatible with a winner’s existing network cannot be accommodated. Any
difference between stated ARV and actual value of prize will not be awarded. Winner must accept
prize as stated, or prize may be forfeited. Prize winners will be solely responsible for all federal,
provincial and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive,
regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, are used. Limit one (1) prize per
person/address/household. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prize cannot be transferred,
redeemed for cash or substituted, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or
greater value at its sole discretion.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: As a condition of entering, participants agree (a) that Sponsor, Ovi
Maps, their respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion
agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are
released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any
liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property
resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the
prize or participation in this Promotion or any Promotion-related activities; (b) under no circumstances
will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim,
punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket
expenses; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prize
awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all
claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding
attorneys' fees and court costs. Except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm
that grant in writing) permission to Sponsor and those acting under its authority the right to the use of
his/her name, picture, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements, at any time or times,
for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in all media
now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and World Wide Web, without
notice, review or approval.

9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, illegible,
late, misdirected, incomplete, mutilated, or non-delivered Initiating update, Entries, mail or email; or for
interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Website,
telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer,
satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, garbled, corrupted,
scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software or telephone
malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human,
mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of Entry or other information
or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are
responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or by any
equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion; and assume no responsibility
for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission,
communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or
hacking of the Website. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it
finds to be tampering with entry process or operation of Promotion or to be acting in a non-
sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person.
Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to participant's or any other person’s computer related
to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading or copying materials from or use of
Website. If, for any reason, Promotion, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is not capable of running as
planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt
or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor
reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Promotion, and
determine winner from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken, or as otherwise
deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited.

10. GOVERNING LAW: By entering, participants agree that all issues and questions concerning the
construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant’s rights and
obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be
governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Province of Ontario, without giving effect
to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, participants consent to the jurisdiction and
venue of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

11. WINNERS LIST: For the names of the winners, hand print your name and complete address on a
3”x5” card and mail in a postage stamped envelope to:
