Essential Grammar in Use CD-ROM

Installation instructions
Essential Grammar in Use can be run directly from the CD-ROM and does not
require installation. However, we recommend that you install Essential Grammar in
Use and run it from the hard disk. This will make Essential Grammar in Use run
more quickly.

To install Essential Grammar in Use on your computer:

1. Ensure that the CD is in your CD-ROM drive and close Essential Grammar in
Use if you’re running it directly from the CD.

2. Double-click on My Computer to display all the files and folders.

3. Right-click on your CD-ROM drive, then choose ‘Explore’.

4. Double-click on the file “Install Essential Grammar in Use to hard


drive.exe”.

5. Follow the instructions on your screen.

You must be allowed to install software on your computer, i.e. have Administrator
privileges.

System Requirements

- Windows 2000 or XP
- 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
- 800 x 600 screen resolution
- Internet Explorer 5 (or later)
- About 500MB free hard drive space if installing
- A mouse, or other pointing device

Note for users of Windows Vista


The Essential Grammar in Use CD-ROM is not fully compatible with Windows Vista.
The following features are known not to work on Windows Vista:

• Tests
• Downloadable extra games

In addition to this, we can give no guarantee that Essential Grammar in Use will
work at all on Windows Vista – only Windows 2000 and Windows XP are officially
supported.
