We are very excited to introduce our state of the art facility, professional staff, and integrated services to our community, specifically our families, stakeholders and benefactors. Opening remarks will begin with Department of Human Services Commissioner, Jennifer Velez, at 12:45pm. ‘The dream of opening a Healthcare Center became an urgent reality with the closure of the Developmental Disabilities Health Alliance (DDHA) clinic in Hamilton in December 2010. The Maria Grazia Panaro Foundation provided Arc Mercer with a grant award in the amount of $37,000 to establish the facility, Their generosity has allowed us to fill a vital need for individuals with developmental disabilities in Mercer County. The Arc Mercer will honor the Panaro Foundation at the Open House with a plaque dedication ‘The Arc Mercer Healthcare Center is affiliated with United Healthcare, formerly known as Americhoice. We encourage families in the process of selecting an HMO by the June 10th deadline to attend our Open House and learn more about our services. The Open House will begin at 12pm with lunch, followed by the opportunity to tour our facility and meet our doctors and professional staff. Remarks by State and local dignitaries will begin at 12:45 pm with Commissioner Velez.
