Styles of Letters 1. Single Strokes Gothic Lettering Style all alphabets are formed with a series of single strokes that are as wide as the pencil point or speedball drawing pen. a. Single Stroke Vertical Case or Caps.

General Proportion of Letters 1. Normal Letters when the letter are drawn neither too narrow nor to wide.

While the other letter are average with. 2. Compressed Letters are narrow in width in proportion to the heigh and are used when space is limited. 3. Extended Letters a wider than the normal letters.
