Establishing Engineering Lettering (To be Past Next Meeting) Slanting Strokes Vertical Strokes

Materials Needed : 4 pcs of graphing paper 1 mechanical pencil 1 ruler (12) Eraser Important note : use Graphing Paper in Developing your skills in Drawing.

Lettering it gives pertinent information depict the object under construction. Template Format :

Styles of Letters 1. Single Strokes Gothic Lettering Style all alphabets are formed with a series of single strokes that are as wide as the pencil point or speedball drawing pen. a. Single Stroke Vertical Case or Caps.

2. Roman Letters all letters are accented stroke.

General Proportion of Letters 1. Normal Letters when the letter are drawn neither too narrow nor to wide.

Proportion of Normal Letters I is the narrowest and the found stroke of all letters. W widest letter OQM the second widest letters ACDGKUXY third widest letters. While the other letter are average with. 2. Compressed Letters are narrow in width in proportion to the heigh and are used when space is limited. 3. Extended Letters a wider than the normal letters.
