The Administrative Officer heads this department in PKHIL and is supported by assistant administrative officer. There are other two office assistants working as subordinates under assistant administrative officer. At PKHIL, the administrative department looks after the personal management functions also. Around 200 workers are employed in the organization including 150 workers and 50 office staff. The office hours in the starts at 10 am and finishes at 5.30 pm. While factory hours are from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. It is obvious that there exist stronger industrial relations within the organization. The general meeting is conducted weekly. The workers also have adequate participation in the decision making process. So they are more loyal to the company and no trade unions are allowed to grow within the concern.

MAINTENANCE WING
Maintenance is very important to extend the useful life of an asset. Maintenance has not only to reduce scheduled stoppages and breakdowns by frequent performance checking, testing and providing inspections and skillful repair when required to ensure better service, availability and reliability. For the proper maintenance and repair of plant and machinery, a separate wing functions under the control of General Manager. The principal objectives of the wing are: 1.
