AN OTHER ASASAH MICROFINANCE STAFFER GIVES IN

It been not be a mere co incidence that third death of an other Asasah microfinance staffer has been reported with a short span of three years. It may not be out of place to mention that two out of the three deaths were commonly believe to be suicides. A fourth death also took place in mysterious circumstances. The victim came into conflict with the administration, and cause of the conflict was the withheld salaries of himself and his staff in Faisal Abad Brach. It was also reported that the victim was isolated from his staff through coercion and incentives given to his staffer, who were previously protesting with the victim. The first victim Tanzeela who was twenty three, was allegedly issued termination notice in back dates, after she committed suicide. The third victim Saleem, who was a community development officer, and who hanged himself with the ceiling fan in the office of Asasah. The Asasah is also on record to have sought cheques from its staffers by force as a guaranty against disbursed portfolio. This was the practice discovered by its board of directors who made Asasah stop this high handedness. The organization which is supposed to help the poor and claims to better the lot of have nots, is forcing its implies to commit suicide after one an other.
