No audition required, just a love for music and the Holy Mass. Ability to read music helpful but not necessary. Choirs provide music for the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass and once a month at the 5 p.m. Saturday Mass. Adult Choir, high school age and up: weekly rehearsals, 7:30 p.m., Thursday. There are no rehearsals during the summer months. Childrens Choir, grades 3 - 8: two monthly rehearsals, 6:15 p.m., Thursday. The Children's Choir provides music for the 11 a.m. Mass, on the first Sunday of the month, October-June. Cant make the weekly practice commitment all year long? You have OPTIONS! Option 1: Once a Month, Saturday 5:00 Mass: Sing once monthly with adult choir at 5:00 Saturday evening Mass (when children will be singing 1st Sunday of the month). Attend practice only the Thurs. prior. Option 2: Special Holidays: Be part of the Holiday Choir, coming to practices prior to Christmas and Easter. Watch the bulletin for practice dates as the holidays approach. Option 3: Christmas Novena Choir: The novena choir sings for the Christmas Novena, December 15-23, at 7 p.m. Two rehearsals are required to participate in this choir.
