I. COURSE CODE: II. DESCRIPTIVE TITLE:
The course aims to teach the approach entrepreneurs use in identifying opportunity and creating new ventures; the analytic skills that are needed to practice this approach; and the background knowledge and managerial skills that are necessary for dealing with the recurring issues involved in starting, growing, and harnessing the value of new ventures.

VII. COURSE OBJECTIVES Towards the end of the course, the students should be able to: 1. Appreciate what is entrepreneurship, its benefits and advantages to a private citizen and to the economy of the country. 2. Understand the basic requirements to start a business enterprise and apply these requirements in their own businesses in the future 3. Accomplish and present a project feasibility study viable for submission to financing sources for MSMEs

The college uses the following CUMULATIVE SYSTEM of grading in each period: Final Grade (each period) = 20% (Previous Grade) + 80% (Present Grade) X. Course Policies 1. No permit, no examination. 2. VIII. COURSE CONTENT Specific Objectives At the end of the course, the students are expected to: 1. Define entrepreneurship and identify who are the successful entrepreneurs in Alaminos City and in the country 2. Familiarize the benefits , advantages and risks of entrepreneurship 1. Know the entrepreneurial personality and qualities particularly the Filipino entrepreneur 1. Know and understand the status of MSME in the Philippines 2. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of small businesses in the Philippines 1. Explain the relationship of entrepreneurship and the government and to identify the economic contribution of MSMEs to the Philippine economy 1. Enumerate programs and support of the government to entrepreneurs 1. Determine the difference of big and small enterprises and identify to identify business opportunities in rural communities 1. 1. Have an overview in writing a project study particularly the general format 2.
