She is a beautiful female elf of a family with high standing.

She is shunned by her clan because late in her adolescence she developed an affection for human ma les which they considered unhealthy. Upon being discovered in coitus with such a man, she is unceremoniously exiled from her village with hands bound behind her back and a curse written in the man's blood on her brow. This is essentially a death sentence because elves cannot use magic with bound hands. Because elves li ve hundreds of years longer than humans they consider humans to be lesser beasts . Elves recognize humans as intelligent, though uncultured, beings (IOW they are bigots). Tearfully she flees into the dark, wet, forest. Naked, unarmed, unable to break her bonds, and suffering the effects of the curse, she feels certain of her own impending death. Without access to her natural animal affinities she is comletel y vulnerable. She is attacked by (some animal unlikely to be able to kill, but a ble to wound) and her legs and arms suffer numerous lacerations from fleeing thr ough trees and bushes. Four days later later a trapper finds her unconscious, bleeding, and near death from starvation. He carries her to his campsite, gives her water, tends to her w ounds, and covers her in his only blanket. She regains consciousness after some hours, but is feverish and delerious. He feeds her fish, fruit and nuts in small quantities. He stays with her for days until she has recovered. Scarred and unable to use her magic, she must adopt a charming manner to seduce him. She needs him to help her, so she will use him for now. When her strength h as returned she will cut his throat and bleed him dry. She needs his blood to pe rfom the dark rite which will break her curse and allow her true powers to retur n.
