WCDMA Scanners USB Port In some computers there are both USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports. It is advisable to connect the scanner to PC using USB2.0 port, using USB3.0 port may result in the computer to crash. LX/EX WCDMA scanners (Black Colour) used are PCTel G&U LX type. In Huawei documentation the scanner is mentioned as EX, but the suppled scanners are LX type. In Probe select the scanner type as PCTel G&U LX The LX scanner has two RF in ports to connect antennas. Port 1 - can be used to scan U850 band Port 2 can be used to scan either U900 or U2100 band (one band at a time) When both U900 and U2100 need to be scanned at the same time, two separate scanners need to be used, antennas connected to RF port 2 in both instances. One LX scanner can be used to scan U850 together with either U900 or U2100 at the same time. The antennas supplied are wideband antennas and can cover U850, U900, U2100, G900 and G1800 bands and are interchangeable.
