1 Introduction

The PowerBee is an excellent piece of equipment, designed and manufactured with care.

The PowerBee (manual version) is a tow truck, designed for pulling harvest carts (ex. Bo-carts)
in market gardening greenhouses. The PowerBee can only be used on the concrete path for
transport from the greenhouse to the collection place, discharging place,…
The PowerBee has a steel construction with rubber wheels, which are electrically driven, and
one steering wheel. The electromotor is powered by batteries. It drives the wheels via a
differential gear unit.

You can use the PowerBee by means of a foot pedal and a grip for regulating the speed. The
PowerBee has the possibility to ride forwards and backwards.
The PowerBee contains a steer to maneuver it easily. Thanks to the steering mechanism, the
PowerBee is able to turn with a short turn circle.
Further it contains an electrical brake, which is active when the PowerBee is not driven. In this
way the PowerBee stands still when it’s not used, even on a slope.
Finally the PowerBee has a connection for charging the batteries that is very accessible.

The operator stands on the PowerBee, in this way he can get on and off easily and quickly.
The PowerBee has a tow bar for connecting the harvest carts. You can connect a row of harvest
carts behind the PowerBee.
