Websphere Commerce Developer Enterprise v6 Installation

Step: 1 Click on setup.exe.

Step: 2 Click on Next.

Step: 3 Accept the license agreement.Click on Next.

Step: 4 Give the directory path. Click on Next.
Step: 5 Select the environment as shown in the below screen shot. Uncheck IBM Sales
Center.
Step: 6 Click on Next.
Step:7 Click on Next.
Step: 8 WCD Installation starts here. It will take few minutes.
Step: 9 Configuration happens automatically. It will take some time.

Step: 10 Click on Finish.

WCD Installation is done!
2. Configuring WebSphere Commerce Developer v6 to co-exist with
Rational Software Architect v6
 Make sure you don't have a wasprofile directory under WCDE_installdir. If
you do, delete it.

 Edit the “setenv.bat” file (in WCDE_installdir\bin)

 Locate the RAD_HOME variable and set it to the RSA install directory. In our
case, it should be "E:\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0".
 Save the file and exit
 Run “setup.bat” manually from WCDE_installdir. This will open an “MSDos
Prompt” window and start the workspace creation in background. This will
take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
 When it finishes, the “MSDos Prompt” window will get closed. Check the
contents of the WCDE_installdis\logs\setup.log and verify that it was
successful.
 Start WCD and test.
