ENHANCEMENT IN FINGERPRINT AUTHENTICATION

Our project aims to overcome the drawbacks of the various techniques used by reducing the possibility of false recognition and false authentication. For this purpose, we use fuzzy logic. Generally minutiae based method is used for finger print identification. But we propose a new feature that uses ridge tracing and ridge curve correspondence. This eliminates the possibility of spurious or lost minutiae.
