Background: The Rotaract Clubs of District 9710 are hosting the Australian Rotaract Conference in 2012. The Conference will be held on October 20-21 in Canberra. There will be between 100-150 Rotaract members and a dozen Rotary members at the conference. This is a high profile event that should attract media coverage in the ACT, and within Rotary circles. The Opportunity: We are seeking a young designer (aged under 30) who is looking to boost their portfolio by designing a memorable logo for the conference. The designer will be credited on all promotional material, including the conference Facebook page and website. This can include a link to your website or online portfolio. The Brief: The logo needs to reflect District 9710, which includes the ACT and the South-Eastern corner of NSW from the Southern Highlands to the South Coast. You can focus on a particular natural or built feature, or make it more abstract the choice is yours. Keep in mind the conference itself will be held in Canberra. The logo should either incorporate or be easily paired with the Rotaract Logo. This logo can be found on Rotarys website www.rotary.org.
