“Employees of Rockwell International on Project for Iranian Regime Ambushed While on their Way to Work”: Iranian officials (of the Previous regime of Shah) said the three civilian victims were killed by members of the same self-styled “Islamic Marxist” anti-Government terrorist group that was officially blamed for the assassination of two American colonels in Tehran last years.
“At least 60 alleged terrorists are officially said to have been killed or executed in Iran this year. At least 10 clashes between security officials and alleged terrorists were reported during the first half of this year and in some the alleged terrorists were killed. Eleven alleged members of the Islamic Marxists group were tried last winter by Iranian military courts here for the murder of two colonels and another Nine of the accused were convicted and executed by firing squads on Jan. 24. The sentence of a tenth was commuted to life imprisonment by the Shah and an 11th a woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
