Tuy nhin, n c kh nng v cam POS PI s tip tc tng sau 24 h, nh c quan st cho enzym to ra POS ( 29 ). POS v cam cng tng dn s bifidobacterial sau ny trong qu trnh ln men so vi FOS, cho thy v cam POS sn xut ln men prebiotic bn vng hn. Ngoi ra, pectin vi cc mc khc nhau ca kt qu este ha khc nhau nng butyrate ( 5 ). Nhm ny sinh l quan trng ca vi khun sn xut s lng tng i ln ca butyrate ( 38 , 1 , 24 ). Sn xut Butyrate c cho l mang li li ch cho sc khe ( 4 ), vi qung co vai tr trong cng tc phng chng vim lot i trng ( 3 , 39 , 41 ) v ung th rut kt ( 15 , 34 ).
