UVIS (Under Vehicle Inspection System) DEFV system capabilities: DEFV System was specifically designed to explore the

vehicle frame and the presence of irregular objects. The objects can range from explosives, drugs, merchandise and even, in some cases, human trafficking across borders or outside prisons etc. The system can be used in various ways according to the needs of the end users and the concept of security used. The system should always be placed before a physical area of detention - gates, bollards or a locking chamber. When the vehicle reaches the gate, the system automatically scans the frame showing a live image of high resolution to the user, which can be placed at a distance of 1500 meters from the vehicle inspected. The system has a 4-axial optical heads allows automatic scanning cycles, but can also be operated in manual mode. The operator can move the optical drive with the vehicle and get a pan, tilt and amplified suspicious objects. The high resolution camera has a powerful optical amplifier to examine suspicious objects. The versatile angle of view allows the user to check the threat from multiple positions to physically suspect before the subject. In the case of technicians in a bomb squad, the ability to examine the object from a distance before it physically deal could mean the difference between life and death, and spared the inconvenience of false alarms. The system is based on a logic controller that commands all functions, making it easy to operate without the hassle of using a computer or having to train staff to understand how to use it. The control board consists of an on-off button, two joysticks, one button auto scan mode and a screen. A cable connects the control board system (quick and easy installation). The system varies from a distance of 2.5 meters to inspect vehicles and a distance of 4 meters to inspect trucks. The system measures 20 cm high and can be placed on the ground or placed on the surface on small ramps that raise the vehicle 20 cm. Likewise, there is a special VIP portable applications. All data can be recorded on the DVR system for local training and research purposes. The data can be linked to a LPR (License Plate Recognition) to obtain better documentation. The system was not designed to use only one camera view upwards of 90 degrees as we know from experience that most of the threats and explosives are holding up the beams of the vehicle, which means they were only visible from a angle. FUNCTION AND BENEFITS: 1. Ability to scan the vehicle while it remains stationary. 2. Display above the bar dampers and other vehicle components from multiple angles and magnification of the view. 3. Color video feed live to achieve a constant visual contact with suspicious objects until it confronts the threat. 4. The system automatically scans the chassis, using pre-programmed sequences or according to userdefined programs. 5. Unit 4-axial optical heads. 6. High resolution cameras with powerful optical amplifier (36X). 7. Manual for detailed inspections of suspicious objects. 8. Automatic mode that operates via touch screen. 9. The site supervisor can schedule automatic sequences of special exploration. 10. The systematic exploration cycle focuses on places vulnerable suspects in the case. 11. Switching to manual mode automatic mode at any time during the live scan. 12. Optional registration for training, research and documentation. www.defensetechs.com info@defensetechs.com
