Setting priorities: -Helps to build a consistent record of achievement -Builds trust -Strengthens commitment -Builds credibility Not setting priorities: -Leads to missed goals and opportunities -Erodes credibility -Creates perception of chaos and disorganization -Creates sense that ability to deliver is questionable -Raises questions about competence
