Classification protocol PKO 08 192/AO 204 1. Introduction 1.1. This classification protocol defines the fire resistance classification of non-bearing wall sandwich PIR panels type KS 1000 (1150) TC IPN and IPN 2, directly applying the results of tests performed in accordance with European standards. This protocol defines the classification in compliance with the procedures specified in SN EN 13501-2. 1.2. This classification protocol contains 7 pages and may only be used in its entirety.

2. Detailed information about the classified product

2.1. General information Products designated as walls made from KINGSPAN panels are used as non-bearing perimeter and interior walls with the required degree of fire resistance. The purpose of the structure is to resist fire with regard to the fire resistance parameters specified in SN EN 13501-2, Article 5. 2.2. Description 2.2.1 Walls made of KINGSPAN KS TC IPN panels - The inner side of the panel is made of profiled sheet steel with a thickness of 0.5 mm (i) - The inner space between the metal sheets is filled with heat insulation comprising PIR IPN foam (=38.9 kg.m-), 100 mm thick - The outer side of the panel is made of profiled sheet steel with a thickness of 0.6 mm (e). The panels are joined together on a tongue and groove. The space between the panels is filled with PROMASEAL XT 20 mm sealing tape on the exposed side. The surface of the sheet metal may be profiled, lightly profiled, or straight (outer sheets); straight or profiled (inner sheets). The width of the structural panel is 1150 (1000) mm. The sheet ends in 2 nibs which are covered up during assembly; sealing tape is placed between them and at the join. The panels are screwed to a minimum depth of 500 mm. The panels are fixed to the bearing structure in two possible ways: Variant A): Wall fixed on three sides, with one vertical end loose, only sealed in with rockwool. Walls fixed on two horizontal sides (top and bottom).

Variant B):

The panels are mounted vertically. Distance of the bearing structure supports is up to 3020 mm. The reaction to fire of the panels with PIR IPN foam is B s2,d0 (in accordance with FIRESCR-122-07-AUPS) 2.2.2 Walls made of KINGSPAN KS TC IPN 2 panels - The inner side of the panel is made of profiled sheet steel with a thickness of 0.5 mm (i) - The inner space between the metal sheets is filled with heat insulation comprising PIR IPN 2 foam (=37 kg.m), 100 mm thick

Assessment of the construction The fire resistance of the fire-resistant non-bearing walls made of KINGSPAN KS TC panels was determined on the basis of a theoretical experimental assessment of the limits in accordance with SN EN 13641 based on the extended application of the results of fire resistance tests, see Report No. U-058/08/AO 204. The assessment is performed for walls produced by KINGSPAN a.s., Hradec Krlov, described in section 2.2. 4. Classification and sphere of application A detailed assessment and extended application is given in Report No. U-058/08/AO 204. This assessment proved that non-bearing walls made of sandwich PIR panels, in the composition described in section 2.2., comply with the fire resistance criteria as specified by SN EN 1364 1, and in compliance with SN 73 0810 and SN EN 13 501-2 these walls can be classified as appropriate structures. 4.1. Perimeter walls made of KINGSPAN panels with PIR foam are the following structures: 4.1.1. KS TC IPN 100 panels (for composition see section 2.2.1.) a) Panels 100 mm thick (variant A wall fixed on three sides) - from inner side (i o) EW 30 DP2 (as fire sealed area), - from outer side (o i) EI 30 DP2 ef b) Panels 100 mm thick (variant B wall fixed on two sides)

KS TC IPN 2 100 panels (for composition see section 2.2.2.) a) Panels 100 mm thick (variant A wall fixed on three sides) - from inner side (i o) EW 30 DP1 (as fire sealed area), - from outer side (o i) EI 30 DP1 ef b) Panels 100 mm thick (variant B wall fixed on two sides) - from inner side (i o) EW 30 DP1 (as fire sealed area), EW 60 DP3 - from outer side (o i) EI 30 DP1 ef 4.2. Inner walls made of KINGSPAN panels with PIR foam are the following structures: 4.2.1. KS TC IPN 100 panels (for composition see section 2.2.1.) - Panels 100 mm thick (variant A wall fixed on three sides) EI 30 DP2, - Panels 100 mm thick (variant B wall fixed on two sides) EI 30 DP2 4.2.2. KS TC IPN 2 100 panels (for composition see section 2.2.2.) - Panels 100 mm thick (variant A wall fixed on three sides) EI 30 DP1, - Panels 100 mm thick (variant B wall fixed on two sides) EI 30 DP1 These results apply for non-bearing walls made of KINGSPAN KS 1000 TC sandwich panels with the following changes made against the tested parameters: Reducing height of wall to below 3000 mm Increasing width of wall For walls made of KINGSPAN panels with a sheet thickness as described and greater thicknesses For heat insulation from IPN and IPN 2 PIR foam with a volume weight of = 37 to 39 kg.m For panel widths of 1000 mm and 1150 mm Reducing distance of fixation centre Reaction to fire of materials used is the same or lower When increasing distance of bearing profiles (that panels are fixed to) to 12 m, provided that joins are screwed or riveted to a max. depth of 3000 mm, panels join together, do not join to bearing structure
