Pollution in India Pollution is a natural outcome of development. In an ordinary sense we do agree with the statement.

When the nation is attaining growth, many things are newly created for the amenities of the human flok. All the new inventions are artificial and they supply us some evils also. Sometimes the use or misuse of such inventions leads to dangerous results. Modern India air, water, sound, atmosphere, food and even the earth have become polluted due to the use of the same in an unsystematic way .The factories are producing the daily needed goods and articles like cloth, construction materials, metals like steel, iron etc, powdered food grains and other materials. They are inevitable for human life. But they bring out smoke, contaminated water, poisonous gases, dust, foul smell, etc and air and atmosphere are thus polluted to a great extend. As an outcome of pollution, many diseases are spreading, new diseases are emanating and health hazards rampant.Factories are symbols of progress and prosperity. They supply employment to the people and thereby help them to earn for their livelihood. At the same time, they pull the people of its surroundings to a morbid stage .Some of the factories evokes smoke, and contaminated water along with other waste materials which affect the biological balance of the earth. Some produces garbages like waste which may dissolve in the soil easily but may affect the fertility and naturality of the earth. The ultimate effect is the loss of virginity of the nature. Modern times we enjoy many facilities with the introduction of plastic. Plastic materials and carry bags are become a part of our daily life. But to the nature it is the greatest threat. Metals replaced the earthen and wooden utensils and vessels. In ancient times people used earthen utensils and wooden materials and articles for their homely use. They prepared food in earthen pots and vessels. Now the situation is totally changed. The people switched over to metallic vessels. The result was that the people have to suffer new diseases, radiation etc.The benefits they got are easy and speedy way of cooking, cleaning etc. The time saving factor attracted the attention of all. The rivers and rivulets are polluted now. It is due to the waste, contaminated water and poisonous substances which are being flown to or deposited in such natural water resources. The holy river Ganga is also polluted. There should be a curtailment or complete prevention of depositing waste in our rivers and rivulets .The importance of natural resources is still not fully comprehended by common man. They are least bothered about their preservation. We know that the natural resources shall not exist for ever. The preservation of it is ipsofacto very important. The use of nature and preservation of the same is to be done scientifically. Now a day garbages are being dumped everywhere. Effluvium is there in almost all cities and now it is spreading in villages also. Foul smell is the symbol and symptom of metropolitan cities. The heap of garbages is a common scene in cities. Flies and other small creatures are spreading from the garbages. Sound pollution is yet another problem we face in the modern world. The advent of rap and rock and the fascination of young generation into it made the situation worst. Moreover the use of mike and other mode of announcement, advertisement, etc. are making the day life of the city a mess. The vehicles are generating sound as well as atmospheric pollution. The carbon- di- oxide and other noxious gases emitted from the vehicle contaminating the atmosphere a lot. Food pollution is the outcome of new generation pesticides and fertilizers. We are using the seeds for cultivation after dipping or keeping it immersed in high volatile pesticides .Germ free seeds are having more poisonous ingredients and when it grows up the noxious content will be latent. Food pollution is an indirect phenomena in the modern agricultural world .Pollution is man made and not natural. When the nature is exploited

the equilibrium losses. Pollution affects the ecological balance.Non availability of fresh and pure water will result in the ruin of agriculture, ruin of health of living creatures, animals and men. Pollution of air and atmosphere make a lot of changes in the atmosphere. The ecology will gradually change and the system may fight for the survival. The ultimate result is the deterioration of the contemporary generation and evolution of new generation creatures which can survive with the changes. Pollution is the contribution of the living system. Man invented a lot of materials, substance, chemicals ctc...Every one of which produces a waste besides it. We can not wipe out or make the waste disintegrated or dissolved in the earth. It is floating in the earth. While many natural wastes are getting disintegrated, the artificial one is remaining as a threat to humanflok. Ecological balance is to be kept without affecting much. When population increases pollution will also increase. The industrialization, globalization and cybernation are the new regions from which modern world may face multi-pronged pollution. The subject of pollution may be viewed from a higher platform. It is not only something which creates problems and difficulties to the daily life of man. It is something which may pave way to annihilate the ecology. The very existence of man may thus affect adversely.
