Note A: The microwave detection envelope is transmitted from the adjuster side of the H.R.M. Note B: Microwave transmissions are blocked by metal, so console brackets, radios, seat frames etc. will affect the performance of the H.R.M. The use of the vehicle must be taken into account, i.e. if the H.R.M. is mounted beneath a coin tray, the detection envelope will be completely changed if the tray is subsequently filled with coins. It is, therefore, essential that the H.R.M. is not mounted behind any area which could possibly be covered by metal objects in the normal use of the vehicle. 3. It may be necessary to move the H.R.M. or incline it to achieve desired coverage. Note C: Two or more H.R.M.s may be required to cover larger vehicles. 4. Mount in the optimum location using the bracket provided. 5. If badly adjusted/positioned the H.R.M. may trigger from outside the confines of the vehicle. Always check for stray radiation through the windows and sunroof.

INSTALLATION NOTES
Note 1: Be sure to secure the black plastic harness cover to the back of the alarm to prevent water ingress and good continuity between the harness plug and socket (see diagram 13). Note 2: If additional cable is required, use only cable of the same or greater current handling capacity. Note 3: Ensure that all connections are electrically sound and made through a suitable connector and protected from water ingress. Poor connections may cause erratic operation of the alarm system. Note 4: Take care to route cables away from the exhaust, cooling systems and any moving parts. Secure the alarm's harness to original vehicle's harness or to a good fixing point of the vehicle. Note 5: All alarm wiring should be lapped using tape of similar appearance to the original vehicle. Extra tape may be added to the vehicle's original harness to give similar appearance. Note 6: The alarm circuit board includes special circuit breakers which protect the main circuit board and the indicators from attack by shorting. The 15 Amp fuse in the alarm harness's power supply (Red wire) is to protect the harness from shorting due to poor installation. It is recommended that the fuse holder and fuse is installed. Note 7: Cable tie the ultrasonic and glass break cables to the main alarm harness siren each side of the 2-way connectors to ensure they cannot be accidentally disconnected.
MOUNTING:
If the alarm has triggered in your absence you will be notified by the indicators flashing 4 times when the alarm is disarmed. The status history will then be displayed by a sequence of flashes from the alarm's LED. This will indicate the following: 1 Flash Door, boot or bonnet opened 2 Flashes Optional sensor trigger (Hyperfrequency Radar Module - 7926HF) 3 Flashes Ultrasonic sensor trigger or glass break trigger (7928) 4 Flashes Ignition sense - Ignition turned on while alarm armed 5 Flashes Voltage drop sensor triggered 6 Flashes Tamper mode 7 Flashes Serial line data link 8 Flashes Serial line data link MULTIPLE TRIGGERS The alarm will also display multiple triggers, therefore if the door is opened and the ultrasonic then detects movement inside the vehicle the LED will display 2 flashes followed by 3 flashes. CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC MEMORY - STATUS HISTORY Turning the ignition On' or arming the alarm system will clear the Status History.

Siren is interrupted and system disarmed? ULTRASONIC/HYPERFREQUENCY SENSOR Press the radio key button A'. Wait 40 seconds. move your arm through the open window. Alarm triggered? (Direction indicators will flash). Procedure for Programming/Re-Programming: A Remote key preparation. B Entering the Pin number. C Programming the Remote keys/Touch keys. D Exit programming and test. Remote Key Preparation: This procedure is not required to program Touch keys. A1 Press both buttons on the remote control until the LED on the Remote key stops flashing (approximately 10 seconds). On releasing the buttons the LED on the Remote key will illuminate. A2 Repeat procedure A1 for ALL Remote keys required to operate the alarm system. This includes existing and new Remote keys. Entering Pin Number: Each alarm system has a unique Pin Code number which can be found on the card in the alarm box. This card must be given to the customer on delivery of the vehicle. B1 Turn the Ignition ON and OFF 3 times within 7 seconds. The LED will Illuminate for approx. 3 seconds.

B2 Immediately the LED extinguishes, switch the Ignition ON. B3 Count the number of flashes until this is equal to the 1st number of your Pin code (i.e. 2 flashes = No. 2, 4 flashes = No.4) then turn the Ignition OFF and back ON. B4 Repeat procedure B3 for the following 3 digits of your Pin Code remembering to turn the Ignition OFF and back ON after each Code number. B5 With the Ignition in the ON position, push an existing Touch key into its receptacle. IF Pin Number is correct the LED will illuminate. Note: If at any time you fail while entering your Pin Code. Turn the ignition OFF for 10 seconds and start again.
Exit Programming Remote Key/Touch Keys & Test: D1 Turn the ignition off. (This will exit programming mode). D2 Test all Remote keys and Touch keys. Programming Remote Immobiliser: Note: If the Immobilisers code number is greater than 13122, Subract 13122 from the Immobilisers code number until the number is greater than 0 and less than 13122. i.e. Immobiliser Code 99999 = 08145 (13122 subtracted 7 times) i.e. Immobiliser Code 88888 = 10156 (13122 subtracted 6 times) (The code number must have 5 digits - therefore 875 becomes 00875) The procedure must be performed when the alarm is in the UNSET condition:E1 Switch the ignition ON/OFF three times in five seconds. E2 The LED will light for three seconds. Touch a touch key once while the LED is on; the LED will switch off and the buzzer will sound for 1 second to indicate the beginning of the immobiliser code auto-learning procedure. E3 Switch ON the ignition and count the blinking of LED corresponding to the first digit of immobiliser code; turn the ignition OFF. E4 Repeat procedure E3 for the next 4 codes. To dial the 0 it is necessary to count 10 blinks of the LED (for example: 234 will be 00234). E5 After the 5th digit the LED will light for 2 seconds to confirm the programming of the code.

Entering Pin Code: (See Section B1-5). Initialising Programming: l With the Ignition still in the ON position, press the large button on the Remote key for approximately 6 seconds. (The vehicles LED will flash with a long single pulse signifying that you have initialised the Program Selection Table). Programming: l After the long single flash the LED will display a short single pulse identifying that you are at Mode A of Program Selection Table.
l Push the large button on the Remote key to change the selection (pushing the button 4 times will take you to Mode E (5 Flashes) of Program Section Table. The LED will confirm this by flashing 5 short pulses. l If you are happy with this selection press the small button on the Remote key, this will input your selection. The LED will confirm this by flashing your selection in long pulses. l Turn the ignition OFF.
