Arriving at the Emotional Quotient is the standard means of measuring the Emotional Intelligence of an individual. The importance of EQ in the workplace: In recent times behavioral scientists around the world have arrived at the conclusion that IQ alone is not the primary factor that leads to better performing managers and workers. The role of EQ in determining the performance of individuals at the workplace is now widely recognized and well understood.
