To unite believers as one Body in intercession for our region by providing teaching on prayer and opportunities to pray that meet the unique needs of our Christian community.
Leaving a Legacy of Prayer is an interdenominational prayer conference to be held at Camp David of the Ozarks on Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29. Our theme is intergenerational prayer. Friday night registration and check-in is at 5:00, then the conference begins at 6:30 with praise and worship, followed by prayer around the campfire. Saturday we will have breakfast, then praise and worship with a keynote speaker. After that, you will choose a break out sessions for the morning and another for the afternoon. Conference hours on Saturday are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Rolla Area Prayer Conference September 28-29, 2012

Please indicate at registration whether or not you will be staying overnight. If registering a family, please include the number of family members and the ages of the children. There are teaching sessions for ages 4-12, but there is no child care provided for up to age 4. There are indoor accommodations for the first 50 to register, and then tent sites will be available when those spots are filled.

What to bring
Please bring your own linens, toiletries, a pen, and your Bible. There will be resources available for purchase during the conference.

Phil Cox
Phil Cox is Pastoral Care Director at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri. His work includes grief recovery, pastoral care, and he also worked for eight years as a hospice chaplain. He is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist with the Grief Recovery Institute. His education includes History (BA), Management (MA), and Clinical Christian Counseling (PhD). Phil brings to the table those life lessons that he has learned from professional caregivers and everyday people facing the toughest challenges this life brings.

Jon Wells, MS, LPC


Jon Wells is a licensed psychotherapist and pastor who is serving hurting kids through Days of Hope. Days of Hope is an interdenominational ministry that seeks to provide pastoral care and share God's love with wounded children and teenagers in psychiatric residential care. Jon has worked as a therapist, providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling for over 7 years, and has served in pastoral roles for more than a decade. Jon brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective on how mental illness, emotional problems, relational challenges, and spiritual life interact. Jon and his wife Darla have been married for 16 years and have three wonderful children.

Samuel Frimpong
Samuel Frimpong is currently Professor and Chair of Mining and Nuclear Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology and currently an Elder at Harvest Worship Center in Rolla, MO. Samuel became a Christian in 1974 through the ministry of Scripture Union in Opoku Ware High School in Ghana. Samuel is called by the Lord to preach, teach and to declare the oracles of God as a prophet and a teacher. Through the ministry of the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, Samuel continues to grow in the Christian faith as a follower of Jesus Christ. He was the President of the Scripture Union in his last year at Opoku Ware High School. At Ghanas University of Science and Technology, Samuel became the General Secretary and the President of the University Christian Fellowship and a member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students. He also served as Executive Board member for Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International in Tarkwa, Ghana. In Canada, Samuel served as a member of the Board of Elders for Sherwood Park Alliance Church, and the Board of Directors for the Mustard Seed Church (which provided assistance to inner city residents in Edmonton). Samuel is married to Grace with three boys, Michael (20), David (16) and Samuel Jr. (14).

Todd Neal
Todd Neal resides in Rolla, MO with his wife, Marzetta, of 16 years and their 3 wonderful children. Todd and Marzetta work as Homeschool Consultants for "My Father's World." Todd has worked in corporate America most of his working life. Both he and his wife has spent many years serving in various leadership roles in the local church. The Neals presently attend Rolla First Assembly. Todd is graduate of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. It is Todd and Marzetta's prayer to continue to be used in the local church and possibly one day work full time in ministry.

Laura Lee Klouzek


Laura Lee Klouzek is a wife of 39 years, mother of 5, and grandmother of 8. She is a woman who desires to be the wife, mother, grandmother, and woman that God designed her to be. She is a 3 time cancer survivor, healed by an amazing God. Her greatest accomplishment is running over herself with her car and emerging with no injuries. She is still learning about life with Jesus, and her prayer is that He will continue to use her for His glory. She believes that prayer is the very essence of our relationship with our Father, and she looks forward to sharing this journey.

Macey Adams
At age 14, Macey Adams is the youngest in a family of 5. She gave her heart and life to the Lord when she was 6 years old. A little over a year ago she recommitted her life and everything that she is to Jesus. Over this past year she has learned that God can do incredible things through intergenerational prayer. She is hoping that through this conference, she will see all generations praying with and over each other. She wants to see the gap between every generation bridged with prayer.

Pastor Tim Hotchkiss


Tim Hotchkiss, father, pastor, and chaplain, received his call in the ministry after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science. Upon joining the Army as a Chaplain Assistant, Tim enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO with the goal of becoming a Chaplain in the Army. Tim has been married to his wife, Joy, for 17 years. They have two beautiful children through the miracle of adoption: Hope (7), and Corban (5). Tim is the pastor of North Grove Evangelical Church in Forreston, IL and an Army Reserve Chaplain for the 389th Engineer Battalion in Dubuque, IA.

Pastor Norman Cartwright


Pastor Norman Cartwright was born in Bourbon, Missouri. He began preaching at age 17, and he attended Southwest Baptist College. He met his wife, Ruth, at Mt. Olive Baptist near Leasburg, Missouri. Their 59 years of marriage and the lives of their four children and eleven grandchildren give testimony to a man of prayer. He has served as pastor at Spring Creek Baptist Church for 17 years and is greatly loved by his congregation and many others in the community.

Kuot Ngor
Kuot Ngor grew up in war-torn Sudan. He began serving as pastor in 2012 at Gladstone Community Church of God in the Kansas City area. Pastor Kuot understands the purpose of prayer, and the power it has to unravel the work of the enemy. His testimony of the hand of God bringing healing to many he has prayed for brings to life the work of God as Healer and Restorer.

Paul and Vicky Craine


Paul and Vicky Craine have served 20 years as missionaries with Child Evangelism Fellowship, where they have taught children about Christ through backyard Bible Clubs, after-school clubs and Bible camp. They are passionate about teaching children and equipping teens for the ministry. In their ministry they have worked with Native Americans and the military bringing the hope of Christ.
