Dynamometer ( 3 pcs ) String Milimeter Graphic paper Plywood board Tacks Protractor

B. Work Steps
1. Prepare the string and bond it into Y shape

2. Hook the dynamometer to the tips of the string

3. Prepare the plywood board, plugs tacks, then attach the spring balance on two tacks. Pull the spring balance to the third so that the first two spring balance attached to the pins to form an angle of 90 degrees. Confirm these angles with millimeter graph paper laid on plywood boards. 4. Mark the point of connection threads that form a right angle and another point on the thread connecting the third spring balance. Then, connect the threads cut points (right angle) with each of the tacks and the second point so as to form lines. Renew the line connecting point of right angle with another point.

5. Record the results of the spring balance as shown by vectors F1 and F2 for the two spring balance nudge each other. Also note that the results shown by the third spring balance as a vector F. INFORMATION : Vectors F1 and F2 is a component of F. Vector F is the negative vector of pulling of the spring balance to the three, because the three vectors form a balanced force, so that the resultant is zero. 6. Measure the angle a, which is the angle between the dotted line circuit (representing F) with the vector F1. 7. Do the experiments such as step 1 to 6 as many as three times by moving one of the embedded nail. 8. Enter the experimental data into the table. 9. Calculate the relative error of measurement.

Data Analysis
1. Complete experimental data with the following table

Experiment
1st 2nd 3rd 4th

F1 (N) 0.38 0.57 0.76 1.06

F2 (N) 0.5 0.4 0.9 1.8

F (N) 0.7 0.5 1 2.3

a (degrees) 36.5 55 51 50

Sin a 0.594 0.819 0.777 0.766

F1 sin a 0.226 0.467 0.591 0.812

F2 sin a 0.297 0.328 0.699 1.379

2. Observe that table. Is there any similarity? write in which part! Answer : No 3. Vector components are usually called component on the axis x and y. Is there anything that has the same trend with naming it? Write down which part is! Answer : There is. Components x and y have the same tendency with the components F1 and F2, because both pairs have the same components, ie perpendicular to each other. 4. relative error of the experiment is

Conclusion
1. Relationship between the value of F, F1, F2, and the angle a can be written as follows F=

2. If the vector components expressed by Fx and Fy, then these components can be written as
the following formula

F = Fx + Fy
