Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (August 19, 2012)

Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

In todays gospel Jesus teaches us that only by eating His flesh and drinking His blood will we live. Parents are called to similar sacrifice. If you feel that your children are consuming your every minute, realize that this is the sacred vocation of parents ---to give their lives to their children so that they may live. Parenting is not part-time, it is a total commitment. (Insert graphic 1106-0086)
358 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. The Holy Hour program needs help to be able to continue with perpetual adoration. We have adorers who are doing double duty to cover hours. Please help before it is too late. Let us not tell Jesus that we are too busy. Contact Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926 if you are able to assist.
