Relating Vastu and Science According to Vasthu Shastra, almost 1500 decades back universe was not like

as we see now, it was more or less dust particles. It is because of a phenomenon known as Mahaspodanam that Panchabhootangal is seen in the scattered form. From the sky, the scattered elements came down and joined to form different things. Energy is primarily considered as emanating from the northeast corner and many site and building characteristics are derived from this. Sites sloping down towards north or east from higher levels of south and west are considered good. Open spaces in site and openings in the building are to be more in the north and east than in the south and the west. No obstacles are to be present in the north and the east. Levels and height of buildings are to be higher in the south and west when compared to the north and east. According to Vastu Sastra, the world comprises five basic elements known as the pancha maha bhoota. Out of the eight planets, ours has life because of the presence and balance of these five elements. 1. Sky Sky spreads endlessly pouring blessings to all. It is beyond human thoughts and imagination. Sun is the source of energy. Every living thing and non living thing needs energy from the sun. Sun rays have the power to give positive energy which every human being needs. To get the positive energy in plenty, every morning, we should open the doors and windows. Sun rays also give out negative energy. That why it is said that the doors and windows on west and south should be minimized, especially on the south-west part, the doors and windows should be avoided.

2. Earth Unlike the other terrestrial planets, Earth's crust is divided into several separate solid plates which float around independently on top of the hot mantle below. Earth is the only planet in the solar system known to harbor life. Our planet's rapid spin and molten nickel-iron core give rise to an extensive magnetic field. 3. Water Water moves continually through a cycle of evaporation or transpiration, precipitation, and runoff, usually reaching the sea. Over land, evaporation and transpiration contribute to the precipitation over land. Water is the elixir of life. 4. Fire Fire is a rapid chemical reaction known as oxidation. Inside a fire, oxygen molecules break bigger molecules apart into carbon dioxide and water vapor. All the heat and light of a fire comes from big, carbon-based molecules combining with oxygen. 5. Air

Air is very powerful life source. Human physical comfort values are directly and sensitively dependent on correct humidity, airflow, and temperature of air, air pressure, air composition and its content.
