ORGANIZATION: It is a group of people working together to achieve same goal. COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS: 1. A process by which people, health services and agencies of the community are brought together to; Learn about common problems Identify these problems as their own Plan the kind of action needed to solve these problems act on this basis 2. A process , where nurse empowers individual, group or community to solve common health problem to achieve common goals such as universal health care services. Examples
1. Voluntary Health Organization (SADA welfare, Child Aid, PAF) 2. Womens Welfare Organization, APWA (All Pakistan Womens Association) 3. Voluntary welfare organization(EDHI, Chhipa, Sailani, Al-Falah Welfare Society) 4. Youth welfare organization (Scouts girls guides, YMCA, YWCA) 5. Religions welfare organization (Al-Falah Welfare Trust 6. Professionals: Doctors, Nurses, Hakims 7. Society of mental/ physical handicaps. (Dar-ul-Sukoon)
