I-phone
The product I selected to study HCI and try to explore & understand the usability and experience of any product is iPhone 4S. The reason for selecting it is that, Ive personal experience of using it and have vast knowledge about it. The iPhone 4S is a touch screen based Smart phone developed by Apple Inc. It is the fifth generation of the iPhone and retain the exterior design of its predecessor, the iPhone 4, but is host to a range of improved hardware specifications and software updates. The phone added a voice recognition system known as Siri from which the "4S" designator came, and a cloud storage service named iCloud. Some of the device's functions may be voice controlled through Siri. As we know that, in every product there is USP (Unique Selling Point) on the basis of it, we differentiate it from other products, or from its competitor. But we must value that the particular product is easy to use and people friendly. If the product is very unique and attractive but not people friendly then that product might be flop in the market. The iPhone and its predecessors are more than just fancy cell phones. With their range of features from phone to web browser, from iPod to mobile game device, the iPhone is more like a computer that fits in pocket and your hand then any cell phone. It is capable to browser at a high speed; its design is good, it is light weight. its size is 3.50 inches resolution 640*960 Pixels. Touch screen, light sensor proximity sensor. Battery talk time is 14 hours stand by time is 12.6 days (300) Hours) talk time 7 hours and the system memory is 512 Mb Ram. HD camera is 8 megapixels flash led VIDEO calling Front camera, GSM .the things for connectivity Bluetooth WIFI, USB charging etc, voice dialing and is also available in 16 32 64 GB.

Another good feature is it supports many languages, which makes it people friendly. Pros
Pros of iPhone 4S are; it having a clear and smooth Camera, its size is good that it didnt seem awkward in hands as if you hold it in your hand its looks awesome and you get attention of the people as its a kind of fashion or you can say it shows a class or standard. Everything is visible, user friendly and easy to use. It is smooth and the quality of games and other apps are the best, Dual-core processor. It can be use in any language which mentioned above.

Cons
Every product have deficiencies, so cons of iPhone 4S are; it is not friendly to write text messages because space between fonts are very near which creates problem in writing texts, it has Lousy front camera. Hope they can improve the battery life which is the major cons of iPhone 4S.
