Research question Which one, in Europe, is the best school system?

Research objectives To determinate whether there is a better school system, suitable for all the European countries, in order to develop the best way to educate children.

Does the school system of today educate correctly young people ? Does it motivate or instead homogenizes minds by killing the creativity? Only one thing is sure, children are our future. We must found a way that let them grow and pushing forward all the human race. Today there is no longer the place fixed for life, it 's very likely that your career is formed by different experiences. From this point of view, educate our children with a specialist education is not strategic. Continuous learning, creativity and adaptation should be the new pillar of future education. From this point of view is strategic to reach the Financial Security rather than Employment Security. School systems in various European countries differ substantially. Almost everywhere the school starts when kids have 6 years and at least continue until 16 years, but there are differences on all other aspects of education: the programs can be decided at national or local level, holidays can be longer or less, and class can have few or a lot of students. The university admission system and the teachers salaries change from country to country. I decided to chose as sample the Europe, because all the country are quite similar so its easier to compare the different school system, and also because this sample is big enough for analyze correctly the phenomenon. In addiction to this for each country I will analyze all the most important aspects : stages of school education, high school, how to select and pay teachers, the organization of school days, the duration of the holidays, and the schedule of classes. I think that the correct way to develop my research is to use a multi method strategy, in fact by combining the Case Study and the Ethnography I can reach great results that can be considerate trustable . Thanks to the Case Study method I can develop a research which involves an empirical investigation of the phenomenon within its real context by using multiple sources of evidence, so I can compare all the countries system and find for all the aspects which one is the best. Furthermore I can use various techniques (like the interviews, the observation, the documentary analysis and the questionnaires), and by using different data collection techinques within the study I will be sure that the result is reliable.

Thanks to the Ethnography I will be able to describe and explain the social world where the research subjects inhabit, to research the phenomenon within the context in which it occurs and lastly to not use only data collection techniques that oversimplify the complexity of everyday life. In conclusion by mixing the two research methods I can reach complex but confident results, at the opposite the disadvantage is that the research could take long time and energy.

to choose appropriate research strategy, That's why I asked you this time to think about the possible research strategies - case study, or survey, or archival research, etc - and figure out, which one could be most suitable for your research question; and why? It must not be long, just a short passage, why you think that for your research question, this particular strategy is suitable.
