What are you responsible for? pplconnect is looking for a telecommunications virtuoso to join our dynamic team and lead our groundbreaking vision. Your Telecom and VoIP technical skills will lead the VoIP Telecom Solutions team as we develop, integrate and test VoIP solutions and

products for our Next Generation Networks. With your strong knowledge of the new and existing Telephony protocols and their inter-workings you will be responsible for developing applications and infrastructure for our VoIP and Network calling optimization programs. Your typical day Meet with the international team in Montreal, Toronto, San Fran, Mexico and India to plan for the week. Leverage your strong technical skills to develop VoIP related provisioning systems and share your knowledge and guide the team Must have experience designing and building enterprise class provisioning systems and understanding of the telecom domain. Be able to stop and have a quick game of badminton in the back Look at the big picture and have a forward-looking attitude with vision to develop new, innovative services using new and evolving technologies. Demonstrate problem solving and technical innovation capable of "rolling-up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty

What skillsets are we looking for? University diploma in computer science or equivalent work experience in managing Voice systems Experience in planning, designing, integrating, and deploying best-in-breed technologies for telecommunications and data networking 3+ years experience integrating, testing or developing carrier and enterprisegrade, high-availability Telecom solutions 3+ years advanced networking and converged networking experience Development experience with VoIP technologies as well as emerging converged network technologies such as MPTCP. Expertise in various new and existing Telephony/VoIP protocols like SIP, H323, ENUM, TLS, SS7, H.323, RTP, IS41/GSM/MAP, NAT, STUN, TURN etc. Specific expertise in IP telephony: TFTP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and IP telephony equipment Experience with the security and QoS parameters required for IP telephony Experience of working on Linux/UNIX/Solaris platforms Experience with VoIP tools (SIP, asterix, freeswitch and various SIP stack implementations) and equipment such as IP-PBXs (Cisco Call Manager, Avaya, Nortel, Siemens) , SIP phones (Hard Phones and Softclients), TTCN, EAST/Hammer Knowledge LAN/WAN, routing, switching and related protocols to it.

Understanding and troubleshooting skills of TCP/IP networks (e.g., routing tables, host/network configuration issues),
