Invocation With what shall we come before the Lord, and bow ourself before God on high?

He has showed us, mortals, what is good; and what does the Lord require of us but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with our God? Opening prayer: Holy One, Let Your Life infuse our lives. Let Your heart be the beat within our hearts. Let Your Light illuminate wherever we have darkness, and Your Joy replenish our emptiness. Let your compassion shape our compassion, Let your grace become our graciousness, let your love awaken love within us, and your forgiveness teach us to forgive others. Let these things be so! Amen! Opening Song: For those tears I died ( from a LGBT Perspective) You said youd come and share all my sorrows You said youd be there for all my tomorrows I came so close to sending you away And just like you promised, you came there to stay I just had to pray. (Chorus) And Jesus said, Come to the water, stand by my side, I know you are thirsty, you wont be denied. I felt every teardrop when in darkness you cried, And I strove to remind you that for those tears I died. Your goodness so great I cant understand, And, dear Lord, I know that all this was planned. I know youre here now, and always will be. Your love loosed my chains and in you I am free, But Jesus why me? Repeat Chorus

Jesus, I give you my heart and my soul. I know now, without God Id never be whole, Saviour, you opened up all the right doors, And I thank you and praise you from earths humble shores. Take me, Im yours. Repeat chorus Affirmation of Faith: We worship one God, creator of heaven and earth, who is revealed to us in the Bible as the eternal I AM. We proclaim that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the sinless Son of God, who was crucified for our sins and rose again on the third day. We believe that worship, prayer, obedience, Bible study, love, fellowship, forgiveness and service are all important aspects in the life of a Christian believer, having been saved by the grace of God and not by our own human efforts. We believe that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenders are full participants in God's kingdom, and that the ways of holiness and the ways of sinfulness are equally available to everyone of them . Recognizing this, we strive to live holy lives: turning to prayer, Scripture, and the leading of the Holy Spirit to discern God's will. We affirm the need for the Body of Christ to be united in service to God. To that end, we recognize that personal conviction plays a part in many of the specific elements of Christian practices. We affirm that love and respect is owed to each member of this community as brothers and sisters in Christ, and this despite differences in personal conviction that will encompass questions involving sex, intimate relationships and the great debate. We look forward to being resurrected with Christ on the final day. Offering Song: Carry your Candle. There is a candle in every soul Some brightly burning, some dark and cold There is a Spirit who brings fire Ignites a candle and makes His home

chorus--Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn Hold out your candle for all to see it Take your candle, and go light your world Take your candle, and go light your world

Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to Light his own candle some other way See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to Still holds a candle without a flame Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn Hold out your candle for all to see it Take your candle, and go light your world Take your candle, and go light your world

We are a family whose hearts are blazing So let's raise our candles and light up the sky Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus Make us a beacon in darkest times. Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor Hold out your candle for all to see it Take your candle, and go light your world

Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn Hold out your candle for all to see it Take your candle, and go light your world Take your candle, and go light your world.

Greeting God is with us. Here in this place; at this time of sacred refreshment and renewal. Called in grace and gifted in love. Prayer God, you know us better than we know ourselves. You know our thoughts, our weaknesses, our motivations, our sins. And you love us still. Forgive us when we don't believe such love is true or possible; When we wonder how you could love us just as we are, when we forget our intricate construction, fearfully, wonderfully made, in your image!

Remove from our minds every thought which keeps us from you. Break down the walls, push aside our self-centered ways and help us to trust anew. You know our hearts. And you love us still. Amen.

Invitation and Institution Called in grace and gifted in love, Jesus gathered with his friends and shared a meal; the setting simple, the meaning profound. Bread of life, cup of blessing. "This is my body. This is my blood. Do this in remembrance of me." (The bread is broken; the wine/juice is poured.)

This table is God's offer of grace and an invitation to community where forgiveness is found and we are called to be the body of Christ.

In that body, we find all shapes, sizes, and abilities, the young and the old, all colors and shades, and the created diversity of loving relationships. Together, we are affirmed in our shared mission,

and empowered for discipleship. No one goes hungry. This table welcomes everyone! Come, share the feast!

(The bread and wine/juice are shared.) Prayer of Thanksgiving We give thanks to you, God, for this meal. Simple. Elegant. Refreshing. Re-creating. May we hear the call: Love one another as you have loved us. One body, many members, the body of Christ. Amen. Benediction: Blessed are you, when you kneel to help those who have fallen, when you climb up to bring down evil and oppression, when you stand as a barrier against hatred and violence. Doubly blesed are you as you live in gratitude, when you are moved by love, and if you can fill others with hope. And you are triply blessed when you go into the world as builders of spirit, as bearer of compassion and as the makers of peace. Amen.
